To many side effects and treating symptoms is not the same as actually treating the cause. My choices seemed limited! Could not speak to the VA doctor the day of my meltdown but the nurse was sympathetic to my plight and told me that she had heard some Vets getting relief with acupuncture. Another possible choice presented itself? I found Dr. Ryan Bemis in Las Cruces about 65 miles from where I live. I called to get in as soon as possible but he was booked out for at least a month and a half. Yet he had a clinic open to the public that very week end and invited me to join.
