For some inconvenient reason, I find myself in need of vape supplies late at night. There are very limited options in the Altamonte Springs area during those hours. On that particular night, around 1:00 AM, I attempted my typical late-night search for vape shops that were still open nearby. Typically, this search yields disappointing results. However, this time, Fumoo Smoke Shop appeared! They are open until 2:00 AM, seven days a week. This was ver exciting news for me. Not only had I discovered a new shop, but one that was open late! Unfortunately, my excitement dissipated after visiting the shop. The selection of vape merchandise left much to be desired. The store was also slightly disorganized. The in-stock items were overpriced, just to add to my disappointment. My most recent experience at Fumoo Smoke Shop started with a night of desperation for a bottle of vape juice and no other options left open near me. I decided to head to Fumoo to give them another shot. Although the status of their inventory hadn't changed, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming night employee, Doris. She single-handedly earned 5-stars, but unfortunately, I have other things to keep in mind while deciding what rating to give a store. Doris (I hope I am getting her name correct,) made the best of the shop's limitations. Although I didn't find the exact products that I needed, she recommended a few alternatives that would hold me over until I could get to another shop in the morning. Thanks to her, I left with something that did just that, and I would have never tried the product she recommended if she had not been such an awesome and caring person. Thank you, Doris, for turning my night around! Fumoo is fortunate to have you as an employee. I hope they consider your knowledge and expertise to improve the store's merchandise selection so you have an easier time while you work!

Or you can do it kind of speakeasy style and go through a side door. I honestly didn't know where to go cause this was my first time here, so I went through the store. They have a full bar, pretty nice restrooms, a nice stage, and very comfortable leather chairs and couches spread throughout. The back couches are reserved for people who will be purchasing hookah, and they also have a waitress who will get your drink orders for you while you're seated. The DJ was really great, comics were effing hilarious, and all in all it was a great night.

There are several ways to learn the basics if you're just looking to dip a toe in the world of…read morevaping. My first step was to try to find information online, which is surprisingly difficult. Too many differing opinions, and it gets really technical really fast. You find yourself going down a rabbit hole and all of a sudden there's all of this stuff that you "need". I don't need this, I'm not looking to get into it as a hobby; I just want to try it out. So I decided to choose a different tack, to visit this shop and talk to an actual person. I sort of expected that kind of disinterested guy behind the counter half rolling his eyes when I walk in not knowing the first thing about anything, but that's not what I got. I got full and undivided attention, a solid explanation of the basics, and rather than being upsold on something I didn't need, I was directed to exactly what I needed -- something basic that performs well. The prices are in line with what you can find on the internet, which was a bit unexpected too. I would have expected to pay a premium for shopping in person, but that's not really the case here. In fact, one piece of hardware that I picked up was a good 30% cheaper than I could find anywhere else (you had to get a bottle of juice with it to get that price, but I was going to do that anyway). This is a nice, clean shop operated by friendly and knowledgeable people. The membership, if you choose to get one, costs $1 and gives you one month of access to test all of their flavors in the store. It's a no-brainer if you're interested in finding a flavor you like but don't want to take chances by selecting a flavor based on description alone.
