I think we need more of this kind of shops around. I'm tired of the same shops every where I go: H&M, Zara, Jack Jones, etc. Sister Moon has very nice collection of fashion that suit my taste. I find it trendy and they carry brands that are not so common in the Rotterdam area. I can only speak for the men's department. However, most of my girl friends seem to like their merchandise as well. Humör is fun Danish/Swedish brand. They're quite stylish and I find their clothing quite hard to find in Holland unless I shop online. Sister Moon carries Humör and they are modestly priced. They also carry some up and coming young designers from Paris and London. Every time I visit their shop, they seem to always have new items. From the outside, the shop may not seem that appealing, but I recommend you to check them out. My friends and I always seem to find things that we like and want to buy every time I'm there. Go and support the local business with style! :)

We tried on hats, sunglasses, jackets. I got some great sunglasses and a case with leopard. The shop is clean with a great selection for its compact size. This shop had items upstairs and downstairs. Lots of colorful new vintage style clothes and accessories. I loved and bought 3 of the same style belt in different colors. I'm not very into the fifties, I like the stuff, but mostly on other people. But to me it's still a great shop, even if I'm just browsing. There's so much to see. Most of it is vintage, especially in the basement. You can try everything on and there's a big mirror to admire yourself and your (maybe) purchase. The shoes are amazing. Too high for me but stunning non the less. One even prettier than the other! They also have a small but great collection of accessories. I like the earrings and broches a lot. Got a view at home. A lot of them are made by the owner herself. Homemade Very Cherry jewellery brightens up any party. Not even particularly a Burlesque party, any party! It's a small shop but jam packet with lots of goodies. You won't have enough eyes and time to see everything in one go! The owner will gladly answer your questions and will give you background info, wich will make your purchase even more special. She knows a lot about the fifties stuff!
