Majesty carried the particular designers I was interested in, as well as had beautiful styles. Their site also confirmed that they carried dresses within my price range. The amazing reviews convinced me that I should definitely make an appointment to try on dresses. Upon arriving, I thought that the shop was a lot smaller based on the outside. It didn't stand out much. BUT when I walked inside, the shop was beautiful. It was much bigger and had so many gorgeous dresses in all kinds of styles. Morgana assisted me and was very nice to work with. She was patient, attentive and I appreciated the one on one attention I received with her. I loved coming out in each dress because there was a runway with a large mirror. It really made the experience special. The shop only had one other customer inside, so I didn't feel rushed or over crowded. Morgana did not pressure me and explained the options I had. Most of their dresses could be altered to add sleeves. I would absolutely recommend Majesty to any bride. The experience was amazing and there were so many options. The space was also really beautiful.

As a curvier bride, I was definitely intimidated to start wedding dress shopping because of the sizing industry, but Denise and her team completely changed that for me. They were so welcoming, so kind, and honestly made the whole experience fun instead of stressful. When I went to try on dresses, I ended up finding my dream dress! Their selection is beautiful, thoughtfully curated, and not at all overwhelming. The boutique itself feels homey and personal, which made the experience even more special. From the very beginning, everyone I worked with went above and beyond. Cecile helped me find my dress, and Emmy guided me when I picked it up and chose my veil--they were both absolutely wonderful. Patient, kind, and genuinely excited for me, they made the process so smooth and enjoyable. I cannot recommend The Persnickety Bride enough to any bride--whether you're in Fairfield, New Haven, Putnam County, or even farther away, this is worth the trip. You simply won't find a better experience than this one!

I also need to mention how Gail transformed my bridal Juliet cap into a headband using the lace from my cap onto a band form. My daughter wanted to wear a modern version of the headpiece I wore as a bride and Gail listened and continued to modify it until it was perfect for her. I definitely recommend Gail and Occasions Bridal for your next special occasion.
