Mr. Rubio made us feel like family. He has taken care of two of my relatives with care and compassion. We are ever thankful to him.

As I contemplate this review, my heart is full of sadness, as well as my mind. Why? Because every…read moretime I visit this cemetery, I see people walking their DOGS. Why do that? I want to know because I have no clue. AND, WHY does Greenlawn continue to allow this unacceptable 'dog walking' on SACRED property? Why do I say 'unacceptable' and use the word SACRED? Because dogs urinate and defecate everywhere and yes, even on graves of the dearly departed, (and it appears that the owners of the dogs are not picking up after them). Or, Is it because nothing is UNACCEPTABLE nor SACRED any longer? They say "actions speak louder than words" and the fact that there are no signs on the grounds stating "No dogs allowed" SAYS IT ALL. My next thought is 'why hasn't anyone complained to this funeral home about this?' Maybe folks have and it has fallen on 'deaf ears?' GREENLAWN! Keep the grounds GREEN. Stop allowing dogs on this sacred property to disrespect and/or desecrate graves and the grounds. Show family members (and others) of the departed YOU CARE enough to communicate that 'dog walking' on cemetery grounds is unacceptable. Just when I thought society could not go any lower, it appears that it most certainly has reached another all-time low. DOGS just DO NOT belong on cemetery property...because no matter where they are they urinate and defecate which is completely unacceptable on cemetery grounds. Right?

I appreciate all the different roads leading into different directions, but the roads sure are small. And if a car or cars are parked on the side of these roads, then it's a tight squeeze. If there is more than one burial at once, it may be hard to know where to go if say you're coming from the chuch or from elsewhere so I thought a RIP "name" sign would be helpful in front of the burial site. It would've helped me, I just followed a car until I saw a group of people, and then I spotted my best friend. The grass is very uneven, and if you're wearing heels, please be careful! During the burial, a staff member spoke, and he was very courteous. I appreciated his tone and the way he spoke very much. Im sure everyone did! It was a beautiful way to say goodbye!

When I purchased three lots a couple years ago, I was told that I could decorate I could put balloons. I could put a bunch of flowers around his stone and that is honestly why I went with the cemetery and now to say that I'm only allowed to put anything in the flower pot. And if I want more decorations to buy another flower pot, how disgusting what a bunch of corporate greed. I literally feel lied to. We need to rally up and stand up to this corporation and file a community lawsuit. They put up signs for everything how convenient of them to not put up signs that they would be enforcing this on a day where they are not even supposed to touch our decorations. And all the families there are very mindful when decorating I've seen how beautiful the cemetery looks. These last couple of days it has been so sad to go. I am already speaking to a lawyer because this has caused me such pain. I've read my contract and I'm having my contract looked at. I recommend all of us do the same.

We made our appointment for the Monday after my mother died and during our appointment in a closed room, a male employee came in with a customer to sell a coffin. We were literally making arrangements for my mother's remains, and they came through the door to sell a coffin. When I asked him if that was the usual practice, he simply responded with; " this is our only coffin room" I said well maybe you could wait until after our appointment or they could've put us in a different room. Instead of apologizing, "he just said well we were only in here for like two minutes." I told him that was two minutes too long and he left. Absolutely unbelievable. After gathering all of our information and telling us that we should be able to take care of my mother's remains within 3 to 5 days we paid and left. Paid in full and we had to call back constantly to have any communication with the office and their story kept changing about the time and date of getting the permit for our mother's cremation and the death certificate. They told us they were waiting on the doctor to sign off, when we called the hospital and the health department, they told us they had received no request from the mortuary. Sabrina at Greenlawn claimed that they could prove that they sent the request and their proof was literally a handwritten invoice in a screenshot. Run from this place as fast as you can use a small local business instead. The staff is unsympathetic and doesn't even pretend to be concerned with your well-being. I understand it's a business, but they could at least pretend to have a little compassion. We asked to speak to Devin several times and he never returned our call. Then they had the nerve to send a text out a couple weeks after and ask how our service was. When I responded that we never got a call back and it was terrible, Devin finally called me. Horrible customer service.

In a time like this, it went a long way. He helped me arrange a viewing here for my dad and worked with my wishes in doing my dad's burial in Mexico. He was always a text away. He really went above and beyond. He was really compassionate & understanding. He kept me in the know about the process and flight information. He was quick with getting all the documents in order. My dad will be laid to rest in Mexico, 3 weeks from his passing. That's all thanks to Adrian and Basham Funeral care. When we had our viewing, everything looked perfect. We were allowed food for our guest and they provided coffee and water. We were never rushed during our viewing, saying goodbye is never easy and they were more than understanding. Thank you Adrian and Basham Funeral Care for taking such great care of my dad and for taking care of everything in such a difficult time.

I was going through a rough time and pain. My dads last wish was to be send to Mexico. I specifically told them to send him to Leon Guanajuato and they send him to Guadalajara México it was a nightmare. I strongly don't recommend this funeral to no body. If you guys don't believe me. Find out for your self. Hire them. 1/17/19 This is to reply to your comment. You as a business man with 10 years of experience you should know all the regulations and rules to shipped someone to any state of Mexico or any other countries. If you guys would of told me this information since the begging that my dad was going to be shipped to Guadalajara it won't be any issues. There was no communication between us. I always have to be calling you to find out the status of the funeral. I paid you guys in full to expedite the funeral services. After the services here in Bakersfield. I was told that my dad was on the same flight That I was flying. To my surprise my dad didn't arrive to Leon that night. I had to get a hotel to wait for you guys to send him the day. I was told that my dad did not get shipped out that day because the flight ticket was too expensive. After two days finally my dad arrived to Guadalajara. So I have to figure out how to get my dad from Guadalajara. The funeral from Guanajuato gave me a quote to take my dad to my town from Guanajuato, but sense you send my dad to Guadalajara I have to pay an adicional 20,000 pesos $1,000 dollars on top of the contract. I already had his funeral service set up in our town. Therefore I had to reschedule his funeral service until further notice. It took two extra full days for my dad to arrived to our town. I asked your employee that I want it to talk to you directly, but some how I wasn't able to talk to you. It was too much for your emplee to handle. To conclude this sad experience I never thought that I could of gone through this experience. I thought I hire profesional people. The only thing you guys care was about the money $$$. Didn't care about my family feelings. I forgot for you guys it's just business right.
