It import European clothes mostly from France and Italy, it has unique designs that you can't find anywhere else. The selection of clothes for women has much bigger but it has some stuff for men too. What I like about this place is that you know that you won't end up at a party or an event with someone else wearing the same thing. Price are above average as you are getting about average quality and design. This a small family boutique to reimbursement just exchange within 1 week. Although if you come during sales time its really worth it. One last thing to keep in mind, the clothes are mean for slim people. The don't have bigger than Large and usually Large is like our Medium.

I found this little gem of a store on a visit to Montréal. Air Canada had lost my luggage, and I…read morewas in need of new clothes, so I set out with my daughter one day to find a shop and found this one. I tried on a lot of beautiful dresses and tops, and settled on three dresses, a tank top, and a sweater. I could have easily bought more, but my wallet limited that. The women in the store were amazing, courteous, and even great with my daughter. They brought me tea and suggestions based on what I had tried on already. They even had a dollhouse for my daughter to play with to keep her happily occupied while I tried on clothes. So, definitely three cheers to Poeme. I'd happily come back to Montreal just to buy more clothes there.

Most of the stuff is made in Montréal, and everyone can find their own little treasure! Even if it is local designers, it's affordable and the build quality of the items I bought is really great. (They even have gifts and decoration, too!) The service is exceptional, don't be afraid to ask for help! The cave of Ali Baba hidden in the mile-end! I give it a good 5/5! Will come back again! Thanks you!

This shoe store has been in Montreal's Little Italy forever and sells Italian shoes made in Italy…read more I remember back in the day, Montreal was littered with independent Italian family-run shoe stores where they privately imported Italian shoes and had their own suppliers back in Italy, usually located in little out-of-the-way strip malls. I used to see those types of shoe stores in areas where the Italian community are particularly strong, areas like Lasalle, Ville Emard, Pointe Aux Trembles and once upon a time, even in Pointe-Claire. I don't know what happened, but most of those shops are now gone and it's a shame because those shoes lasted me forever and I always got compliments on them because they were singular in their styles and they were reasonably priced. I think Cortina is probably one of the few left now. The service I received here over the years has always been friendly and the shoes are great. Prices here are not cheap but for the quality you get, they are fair. I usually buy boots here.
