If you're looking for cats, go to Pet Food Express at Slatten Ranch on Saturdays from 12-3. or Pittsburg Petsmart on Sundays from 12-3. They have different kinds of cats and kittens with different shapes and colors just waiting to be loved. After a short screening application, your new friend is yours! Cats and kittens have an adoption fee of $100. If you're looking for dogs, they don't bring them on site. Instead, they're all at a foster house in Brentwood. Man, I've never seen so many dogs in one place! Small and big dogs alike! You can tell they're well taken cared of at Joy's house. Usually you can just sit there, observe all their personalities, and pick from there. I'm sure one will steal your heart like my Wyatt has. Dogs and puppies adoption fees range from $125-$300, depending on age, special needs, purity of breed, etc. Email joysdogs@gmail.com or call 925 473-4642 to make an appt. And if for any reason you find that you and your new furry friend aren't working out, you can bring him/her back to the organization free of charge within a month after adoption. Our family is incredibly grateful for the care and dedication of Shiloh Arms Development Center!…read moreThe staff, many of whom have over 20 years of experience, truly lead with love and compassion every single day. We see their genuine care reflected in everything they do for the children. The center provides fresh, nutritious meals prepared by staff, a well-structured daily routine with nap time, plenty of learning opportunities, and fun playtime. These routines help build the structure young children need as they prepare for kindergarten. Shiloh Arms goes above and beyond to meet every child's unique needs, giving parents peace of mind knowing their little ones are in the best hands. Rowena, the school coordinator, is exceptional--always hands-on, assisting in classrooms, and engaging with the children daily. The teachers are communicative, kind, and truly amazing at what they do. The school also encourages parent involvement and keeps the year exciting with activities like summer water play, holiday festivities, birthday celebrations, and more. My daughter absolutely loves attending Shiloh Arms. She often talks about her teachers and friends with such joy. We couldn't ask for a better place for her to be while mom and dad are at work. I highly recommend Shiloh Arms Development Center for parents with children ages 2-5. If you're looking for a nurturing and enriching environment, go check them

They are provided education, meals and snacks as well as a nap and playground (outside area) to play at. We can't say enough about this hidden gem other than we are blessed to have found it and highly recommend it!

So we were excited to have another recreation and fitness center available other than YMCA. The center offered a Performing Arts Center, Family pool, gym, climbing wall, competition lap pool, worship center, weight room, group exercise classes and more. I paid for the fitness shuffle classes to include the Zumba classes which was so much fun. My two nephews would be placed in the child watch section while their parents (My cousin) worked out. My daughter also worked at the child watch section. My brother also worked as a personal fitness trainer. We were members of the Kroc prior to my daughter and brother's employment. All the employees were always friendly, nice and helpful. We surely enjoyed our time here. We have a lot of great memories.

He was interested in climbing barely a quarter up the wall then "falling" because that was so much fun! His interest in the rock wall lasted about 10 min before he wanted to see the basketball court, his first experience ever! & He ended up spending 45+ min in there! We then took a little self tour of the facility & now I want to get a family membership!!!! The day pass was only $11 for him, I was simply a spectator so no money spent there, I'm glad he got wrapped up in the court bc if he only did the rock wall for 10 min that would've felt like paying a dollar n ten cents per minute on the rock wall!! so it was nice to see him explore new things & feel like it was worth the money. The person who answered the phone when I called asking about the rock wall was very informative & gave great information. They were very good about calling a staff member over when we arrived, got the rock wall & the girl was helpful with my godson's first real experience doing this! I noticed a sign that JELLY BELLY sponsors the rock wall????! They should have it updated!!!! My Godson was slightly disappointed there was no bell or buzzer at the top, and the grips were lack luster, you'd think Jelly Belly would've at least had paid for an eye catching array of color or maybe jelly bean looking grips??! I have half a mind to email them requesting an update to the wall!!!! My godson was requesting "the rainbow wall" after 7-8 min! (A wall he had seen in YouTube videos) & I could tell he was slightly disappointed & I felt bad because this was the only rock wall in the area I could afford!!!! Still a great experience imo
