From the moment we stepped through the door, it was evident that this was not just a daycare, but a loving and nurturing environment for children. We have been with Ms. Risa for over a year and my kids have learned so much and have had great interactions with the other kids. She is diligent on working with the older kids on their school work. She was a teacher before taking on running a day care which shows. What sets this daycare apart is the genuine affection and attention Ms. Risa showers upon each child. It's heartwarming to see the bond she's formed with my little ones, providing not just care, but also emotional support and encouragement. My children have flourished under Ms. Risa's guidance, and I am forever grateful for the positive impact she's had on our family.

They do the cutest crafts; and my daughter has learned so much. Risa is really good with communicating any concerns or questions, and even sends pictures. I know every morning, when I drop my daughter off, that she is in good hands. She tells me all the time that she wants to see her friends and "my Risa". I knew as soon as we walked through her front door two years ago, that this was it.

As a first time, single, working Mom the thought of a stranger caring for my baby is terrifying, but unfortunately necessary. Michelle is so warm and friendly and honestly she feels like family. After about a week my daughter warmed up to her and loves attending. With a strenuous commute Michelle's hours are early and convenient; the facility is always extremely neat and clean, not allot of traffic in and out, and she keeps the kids entertained with fun educational interactive activities. Her communication is great, she always responds to any questions or concerns I have promptly & she even sends me pictures throughout the day to help with my separation anxiety. Lol She's helping with potty training and winging my little on off her passy. It brings me so much peace and comfort knowing my baby is in good hands with Michelle. I've tried other facilities with more kids and I feel like she was always sick, I would pick her up with a runny crusty nose, soiled diaper and crazy hair all of the time. With Michelle it seems like there is more structure, my child is always well kept and she is learning allot. She can almost sing her ABC's all by herself at 22 months!

From the beginning, I received daily phone calls about my child's behavior. Instead of partnering with us or offering constructive support, the communication felt negative, with my child repeatedly being labeled as "bad." At just 2 years old, this was extremely concerning. What ultimately crossed the line was when the center contacted my child's father and informed us that our child was not welcome to return due to his behavior, without attempting a collaborative plan or meaningful intervention. To make matters worse, my child once came home with a chipped front tooth. When I asked what had happened, I was told they would get back to me. The response I eventually received was simply that "he falls a lot," with no incident report or clear explanation. As a parent, this was unacceptable. After leaving Kiddie Academy, we enrolled our child elsewhere, where he immediately began thriving. That center provided exactly what he needed patience, structure, and understanding and even recommended a smaller childcare setting, which made a world of difference. This confirmed that the issue was not my child, but the environment. I cannot fully express the emotional toll this placement took on me as a mother. I struggled to focus at work and was constantly worried about my child's well-being while he was in their care. I strongly encourage parents to ask detailed questions about how behavioral concerns and injuries are handled, and how communication with families is prioritized, before enrolling their children here. If i could rate no starts i would.

The director hadn't told her, because it's a "private matter" and "not her business". Our family is not a secret. * came home today with two Father's Day crafts. This is very disappointing, as I thought we made it clear that she does not have a father, and instead has two moms.  It seems like it would have been a simple change to write/print Mama instead of dad on the inside/outside of the card, and at the bottom of the tool chest, and the graphic could have been left off.  If no one knew what name to use, Mom would have worked, or you could have asked us.  This especially bothers me because when our older child went to a religious preschool, they still ensured that they used the correct name on these types of items.  This is not only an issue because she has two moms. What would be done if the child had a single mother by choice, or if their father had passed away?
