Ceviche sempre terá um lugar especial no meu coração…read more When I found Suri off Google Maps one day, I immediately bookmarked it cause I had to stop by one of the days for lunch or dinner. I went on a day when it wasn't raining during my walk there from the place I was staying and when I left the restaurant, it started to down pour hard). Luckily, I had brought my umbrella with me as there were plenty of times when I always had forgotten it at home. The interior is bright and open. There was one large round table in a corner and multiple smaller tables along the wall that was on the street side, a few tables on the sidewalk (covered by an awning, but even with rain, you could get wet), and then the bar which is where I sat. They paid attention to detail here - the minimal decor, yet the well matched placemats, utensils, bar chairs, lighting, etc. I love the bright colors in both the food and the theme of the restaurant. What I ordered: - Picadito Playero (3 unidades - desde que comi sozinho e eles revisaram o preço para mim por menos peças) ***must try!!! so so so good*** Atum picado com gengibre, pimenta sriracha, sweet chilli, cebola e coentro em cima de nossos patacones (discos crocantes de banana da terra fritos) (5 unidades) R$ 55,00 - Goa (somente peixe) ***so unique - I don't think I have ever had a curry inspired ceviche before - I really liked this one and it was very filling.*** Corvina com curry artesanal, leite de coco, cebola roxa, coentro e tortillas de arroz R$ 62,00 - I think the drink I had was a Mango Margarita which was muito bom. There was sugar around the rim and a thin slice of mango. ***The drink was strong and refreshing at the same time.*** I loved every single thing I had here. Presentation on everything was beautiful and the flavors were amazing! All recommended by the restaurant owner who was one of the few who knew how to communicate in English. I think whenever I would go somewhere, those who spoke English would come to me rather than me having to try to communicate in Portuguese, but I really wouldn't have minded trying cause I was learning anyway, but I appreciate the effort in trying to make me feel comfortable. My waiter made sure my check was adjusted for the appetizer as I had gotten 3 vs. 5 pieces before I paid which was recognized, obrigada. I will definitely return next time I am in São Paulo, thank you for a great time!

Sat at the counter and my dirty dishes were left at the counter as they were pulling up (had order different appetizers). Staff members walked by and didn't bother to pick it. They presented me the check without me being done ordering or eating. It was just an odd experience with service... The food was SPECTACULAR!

The food is good, for the burger we ate at least it was nice, not a gourmet burger but a simple one. For the price its ok, if you pay R$5,00 more you can get a better burger at Buzina Food Truck which is more gourmet. They have a lot of different kinds of food but I just ate the simple Hamburger. For the beer labels on the menu, they have a lot to show off but when you ask for something the usual answer is "we don't have that one" and that made us come up with a list of at least 3 "Plan B" beers when calling the waiter. For a restaurant that shows such a large amount of beers in its menu, the impression of a good place to drink different ones is out the door as soon as you start ordering. Such a let down. As for the Cachaças I can only hope that they really have what they show on the menu.

I think they had extra tiles left over when they decorated the bathroom!! The beer they sell, Braumiester, is terrible and just 3 pints gave me a bad headache the next day. Also we ordered pastels which were cold! Obviously made from frozen. When we complained they refried them but didn't replace the cold pastels that we already tasted!! So we received a half portion. When I said it to the waitress she agreed and brought another portion which was freezing again! A child could fry a pastel??? I don't like to give negative reviews but I feel that this pub is having a laugh by charging people money to enter!!

During our visit we just had the opportunity to sample some of their refreshments! This restaurant offers some special refreshments but I decided to go with a classic espresso martini! The martini was solid with real coffee. The host was very welcoming when we arrived: the host introduced herself and shook our hand. We felt like family when we entered. Unfortunately we had dinner plans down the street so we didn't get to try their food. Next time.

It's not even close to being chilly outside. Probably a better selection if you go for the entire bottle off their I-pad menu.

My partner went with a bowl of stewed chicken giblets in a delicious tomato based sauce, and I went with the traditional local specialty for Mondays, the virado a paulista, one of those "whole meal on a single plate" type dishes - their version with a grilled pork chop (slightly overdone, but tasty), deep-fried bacon, housemade linguica sausage, a fried egg, mashed beans, shredded kale, and a bowl of rice on the side. Essentially different from Finnegan's as there's no live music. Nice place to visit on the afternoon or after walking on Teodoro Sampaio street, or just hanging out and relaxing. We settled on asking for a Bohemia Black Chopp, and the answer was "we don't have this one" even though it was on the menu. So next on the list, Brahma Black, not the first option but OK. Yelp Review 2025 #167:…read more One of Latam's 50 Best Restaurants and Michelin Big Gourmand is A Casa do Porco or the House of the Pig. Aptly named since they raise their own pigs in a farm and they make sure they follow practices that are humane and sustainable. Feeding people with respect to the environment. They use the whole pig and nothing gets wasted. I made a dinner reservation a month in advance through their website. It was a simple process. I stopped by for lunch too and there was a line out the door for people without reservations. They do have a takeout window to the side of the restaurant if you want something like a sandwich. You can do their tasting menu or do a la carte. It'll end up cheaper if you did the tasting menu than a la carte. However, I have been eating my way around São Paulo and I knew I would be struggling to finish a lot of food plus, I had a 7am flight the next day. So, I ordered a la carte. I wanted the San Ze Pig (roast pig) but it's too much food. Torresmo de Pancetta + Goiabada + Picles de Cebola Roxa: Crispy pork cracklings topped with a thick sauce made with pickled red onions, and guava. You get 6 pieces. Definitely get this. It was crispy, salty and sweet. Sushi de Papada de Porco + Tucupi Negro + Ameixa fermentada: Pork sushi brushed with black tucupi (sauce made from fermented manioc which looks and tastes similar to balsamic vinegar) and fermented plum. It looks like unagi nigiri. You get 4 pieces per order. I was not given utensils. The items I ordered were meant to be eaten using your fingers. The interior and exterior seem very casual. There's graffiti outside the building and inside the restaurant. Even when you look in Google Maps, it doesn't look like it's a restaurant but an abandoned building. By the time I contemplated adding the San Ze Pig, I was already done with my meal and it was time for me to go back to the hotel. You can check out their menu on their website which you could translate to English to save time on making your selections. They also have menus in English if you ask for it. Service was great and helpful. It was nice light dinner.
