We have a straightforward case: She was rammed by someone pulling out of a parking space with a pickup truck, the car was declared a total loss. The police report is 100% in her favor, obviously. And she is still experiencing nerve pain and muscle spasms. And your law firm dropped our case after 3 months. We feel a profound sense of betrayal by their failure to honor the trust placed in them. Our legal rep, Kairen Alvarez stated that "due to new protocols, they could no longer represent us because the other party had limited insurance coverage." Which is absolute nonsense. This firm does not care about their clients. They told me to "keep going to the clinic" even though we already hit the max coverage of 10k for physical therapy by our car insurance (Progressive). So they tell you "yeah keep going" and then they could just drop your case at any moment for whatever reason. And leave you with medical bills, and continuing pain & suffering. Their client service is also subpar. They bounced us from attorney to attorney. They never reply to messages on the app or voice mails. We had to contact client satisfaction to get a hold of our legal rep. Once you finally get a hold of them: They assure you that everything is moving forward, etc. They also bounced us from different legal teams and switch our attorney without notifying us, they assure you everything is moving forward, months passed by, then they dropped our case -- even though they had just told us that everything was moving along without complications. Be very, very careful if you're thinking about hiring Rubenstein Law. They're good about saying nice things about themselves and mounting giant boards for promotional purposes. However, dealing with them is another game altogether. I was involved in an accident and I engaged them to help me settle my insurance claim. Edismary Brito was the attorney and Mariangelos was the legal assistant. They started by making clinic/medical appointments for me and I started my treatment. It was a straightforward case because I was hit from behind, the police report was clear the other driver was at fault and I think the other driver even got a citation from the police officer after completing his report. The insurance company of the other driver agreed to fix my car and rented a vehicle for me whiles my car was being repaired. They later brought in Maria C. Villegas to help with the property damage part of the case, saying she was a property damage expert. However, she was not forthcoming with info about the case. After making the first call to the insurance company about my property damage settlement, she kept giving excuses for the delay and started talking as if she was the attorney or marketing staff of the insurance company. Meanwhile, the insurance company had stopped paying for my rental vehicle and I was incurring moreover charges daily, though my property loss had not yet been settled. When I called to complain about my dissatisfaction with the way the case was going, they called the treatment places and told them to stop the treatment because I don't have a case. However, the case was straightforward: the police report was clear who was at fault, the other driver's insurance accepted liability, rented a vehicle for me and agreed to pay for my property loss. Stay away from them, if you can. They are motivated by selfishness, money, nepotism and favoritism. They have a history and a track record of doing same to many clients. Not happy with how my case has been handled. I was told by the attorney that I had a good case and not to worry because the Homeowners Association had a large amount of insurance policy to pay out. I had back surgery, broken wrist , TBI and torn ligaments in my shoulder. I have a lot of medical bills and suddenly was told by my the lawyer that I had to stop all my therapies to recover my injuries because the Homeowners Assocation is refusing to pay.. why did it take 6 months for me to be told this.. I was never updated or kept in communication on what was happening in my case. I just found out that my attorney submitted a Demand Letter to the HOA requesting $150,000 why wasn't I told or even involved . Called them in December 2022, since they are a very big law firm with many regular and also litigation lawyers listed on their website, asked if they can take my case, they stated "Yes". After 3 month they they stated that the other party is not responding and they needs to go to another law firm to co-litigate my case since apparently they don't have any litigation lawyers. I automatically had to agree to that, which I did. A few weeks later they called stating that the other law firm decided not to co litigate so they are dropping my case ‍. These are not the lawyers you want representIng you. Back when I got into a life threatening accident that was caused by a drunk driver I had called this establishment to get a lawyer and start the process. While talking with my lawyer I was promised 100,000 dollars by their supervisor for my case. And then when the case ended and the verdict came they gave me only 25,000. But not all at once. They gave me the 25,000 cent by cent. Every other month a couple thousand was given to me until the 25,000 was reached. After I had already signed the contract that's when their price for how much I would get back for this car accident started to lower. I unfortunately had already signed and so my money was in their hands and they took most of it. After I had signed the contract they then offered to give me 10,000-15,000 dollars instead of the 100,000 I was promised. I had to fight for every Nickel and dime to get my 25,000. Please go look at other attorney offices because this was one was an absolute joke and I felt scammed. That night my car was completely totaled on the highway when going to pick up my wife from work and I hit the cement border. And My 14 year old daughter was at home waiting for me to get back. I was moments away from my death. Therefore the treatment and money I received from this drunk driver case was a disappointment and a joke. So make sure to read every contract a lawyer gives you to sign so they don't pull the covers from under you and reveal something you won't like. read more
