Excellent vet. Extremely caring. Someone you would want as a friend. He is very conservative which is great.

Would give them zero stars if I could. I haven't had much time to post due to surgery etc. Now that…read moreI'm able to finally get around to doing all of my "to do's" list... here it is. We decided before my amazing trainer got involved that socialization be great for our new puppy. However this is not a Controlled environment so when he got home from all of the training I had been giving him even though he was in his "teenage months", he'd come home a different dog riddled with anxiety. I started to notice things I did not like. One being a girl who works there took our dog by the collar and said, " let's go, I'm not in the mood for your sh*t". I went outside and then sat there and said how am I leaving my dog in a place like this and I picked him back up and took him out. Watching our dog in the crappy cameras he wouldn't play but stand at the gate. This worker can be very aggressive and "handsy" thinking she a dog herself but if there's any way to treat an animal it is with kindness, understanding and compassion. She went out of her way to tell me I was doing "too much" with my dog. When the simple fact was I was educating myself because I d never had a puppy that young. What really bothers me more than anything was that Woof and Tails sent out and email stating that there was a case of kennel cough going around the kennel. I was extremely glad to read us because I felt like they truly cared and weren't afraid to loose business..honesty is the best policy. However, our puppy contracted HPV at eight months old. I sent them back an email which took a few days to get back. EVERYONE should have been alerted about this. This is a virus that can show only inside of the mouth stopping the dog from eating and if it gets completely out of control could lead to euthanasia. We do understand sharing water bowls could possibly lead to anything under the sun with dogs sharing multiple bowls at the same time. You are completely taking a chance but where the boundary was crossed and where a lack of professionalism is concerned NOT letting other pet owners know that our puppy had warts all over his mouth after coming home more than bothered us. We were infuriated. We truly wish every dog owner learns that any dog under one years of age has a weaker immune system so the chances of your dog contracting something is way over the 90 percent way. They don't tell you this. There is a contract in tiny words so read carefully because we lost half our $700.00 that they wouldn't refund and we had around 8 to 10 full day sessions. There was a girl very sweet manager at the time who gave great advice letting me know maybe try half days instead of full because it may have been too much for him because he was starting I act out which I appreciated so much. She is no longer there. The other staff couldn't care less. The old mangers service is beyond superior and I see why she was a manager. If there's any way of promoting her, I would. I also did not like that you cannot see the water bowls on camera. When watching, the dogs urine and feces stays on the floor for almost 30 min. You have to also think that these dogs are left unsupervised for HOURS at a time. Zero breaks. It's too much and very overstimulating for a dog. I've been to dog parks and you as an owner have control. When I asked how he's acting inside to one of the other staff members, I was told he's fine and if I had concerns, take him out. Our personal trainer had asked me to ask them what they were witnessing because he had developed a behavior problem. When I asked, I didn't get much clarity. I wonder why, possibly because they are short staffed and they don't have one person per room working there. Also, they do not allow anyone in the back besides the staff. In my mind, maybe this should have been a red flag. Would you send a child to day care without fully checking out facilities? The camera made us happy but the quality of the cameras were horrendous. We are so very sorry that we sent our puppy here. Never again. We understand why they don't have a high rating. Never did boarding here. The amount of hours the dogs are left alone are a bit disturbing. In driving by, hearing dogs barking constantly - that's a sheer sign of anxiety. No one is on premiss past a certain hour. While the pups need to recoup and get good rest, putting them in a cage for over 12 hours would never sit well with me. I thought this was high class facility but there are much better places in New Jersey and we'd rather pay gas and tolls to board at a facility with a limited amount of dogs, a bigger space to run, some place where we'd be at peace of mind. This is certainly not a good place for your dog. Please reconsider if they aren't already closed.

GROSSLY NEGLIGENT AND DISRESPECTFUL! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!…read more My 2 labs were booked to board for 10 days about $1300 when my husband and I were several hours out of state. My dogs are 7 and 11 years old, and have low maintenance health issues related to old age. The older dog has IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and needs to be walked every 2 hours to avoid accidents (which was specified by verbal and written instructions multiple times). After 3 days, I received a phone call stating that both dogs were no longer welcome to stay at the kennel. I had to call my daughter and make her leave work in Queens to pick up the dogs in Staten Island at rush hour. When she arrived the dogs were disgustingly dirty!!!!!!!! They smelled horrible and were covered in feces, dirt, AND HUMAN VOMIT. The staff seems like it is comprised of teenagers rather than actual caretakers. My dog's collar reeked of vomit, there was feces all over his tail and fur, that just a 15 minute ride back to the house made the truck smell! HOW COULD A PET BOARDING FACILITY TREAT AND RETURN SOMEONE'S PET THIS WAY?! The negligence and maltreatment was exceedingly obvious. Additionally when my daughter asked for a copy of the receipt the owner caught an attitude and got defensive saying they "weren't trying to rob anybody" (apparently they weren't trying to actually look after animals either). $900 of the $1300 dollars was returned and rightfully so, but the money isn't important. Animals are a part of our family and should be treated as such.
