They are very nice and were happy to answer all our questions. We were able to sample these amazing rubs and decided to purchase one of each of the 3 varieties. They offer one for beef (Blazing Bull), one for poultry (Fiery Fowl), and one for veggies (Veggie Vibe ). Don't let the names fool you. I love spicy food and I didn't think they were very spicy at all. Just really great flavors that are well balanced with a kick. If you love it spicy, just add more. My personal favorite is the Veggie Vibe. It's only been 3 days and I have already used it on scrambled eggs, in my husband's favorite dish, grilled shrimp with poblano sauce and I even used it on my grilled salmon. The rub really added an extra layer of flavor to all the dishes. So, I know this one will definitely be a staple in my spice cabinet If you can't get to Findley Market, you can also find these rubs at both Jungle Jim's locations in the hot sauce section or you can order off their website and have them shipped to your home. I hope you give them a try. I think you'll be happy that you did.

It is a nice store, it has great items... but the prices were a bit out of my budget so I skipped straight to the hot bar. I got two plates (pay per lb), two drinks, and two pie slices. The total was close to $70 for a two-person meal. I could no understand how the meals alone were a bit over $50, it did not feel like 2lbs per person, but then again I did not pay attention to the scale. The food was not very hot by the time we sat down to eat, and it was very crowded at 11 AM. The employees were meh but then again, it was a holiday so I appreciate their presence. We still had a good time, the food was good, but I am not sure if I'd return (mostly due to the cost). It reminded me of sprouts or whole foods, just smaller.

You have to check out The Cozy Cottage in Bellevue. It's a perfect fit in the historic up and coming area. I believe The Cozy Cottage has been there a long time. This was my second visit. Super friendly clerk. Interesting when we arrived to get our Savory Cracker mix no one was in the store. We chatted for around 15 minutes and bought a few more dip mixes. I can't say enough about The Cozy Cottage. I will pass the word along and definitely be back again. No doubt.

Highly successful businesses have outgrown the market and moved on to standalone businesses. And other shops have fizzled out. But I'm thrilled that Colonel De's has been a mainstay in this spot. Colonel De's is not a big chain, but they are a little one. The original is in Findlay Market in Cincinnati, and as of this writing there's also a satellite across the river in Newport. Colonel De's also does a mail order business, but that's it for offices. And the spices are great. They make a lot of their own blends and they have pretty much all the basics. They are not as cheap as some of the crap you can find at the grocery store, but they are definitely a notch better. And I'm pretty sure they look affordable when compared to some national chains. My favorite aspects, besides the convenience of coming here, include the fact that you can bring your own container, and the experience more generally that the people they've had working here have always been very helpful and approachable. I got the double smash burger (regular one) with cheese only. Tots and 12 wings in dry rub. The burger was good. It could use more salt. It did have some seasoning that you could visibly see though. It was a pretty big burger! Not my favorite smash burger but it was good and i'd eat it again. The tots were fine. Much better after being tossed in the air fryer. The wings had great flavor from the dry rub. I would go back for the wings for sure. They were nice and crispy (which i think i may have requested).
