And this is important because as I researched other radon mitigation bids, some had BBB complaints. Genesis Radon had no complaints. He also offers multiple warranties: Lifetime effectiveness warranty means your values will always be at or below 3.9pCi/L; a 30-year workmanship warranty, and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the mitigation fan. When they returned to do the work, the final product was extremely disappointing and her house was left in worse shape when they left compared to when they arrived. The contractor replaced door hinges and the door thresholds. When they left, doors were falling off of the hinges and she also couldn't properly close her front door. They also removed awnings from the front of her house and completely destroyed the portions of the siding, forcing her to get the siding replaced from a different contractor. When we reached out to this business to repair the issues, they accused her of lying (even though we have photos to prove their poor work) and refused to give her a refund. They then blocked her phone number and refused to resolve the issue. The owner should have told her that they were not qualified to do this work, but instead promised something they couldn't fulfill. The owner of this company is extremely unprofessional and clearly takes advantage of their customers.
