We purchased our home in 2021, and the radon test at time of purchase was 3.7pCi/L. We decided to…read morere-test in September 2025, and the result was 6.4pCi/L. It is recommended to install a radon mitigation system for values that exceed 4.0pCi/L. After receiving 5 estimates (some from vendors that didn't want to visit our home), we settled on Genesis Radon. Adam came out, inspected our basement and walked the perimeter of our home. He has 18+ years of experience, is an Ohio licensed radon specialist and contractor. He is a member of various industry groups, and is Better Business Bureau "A+" Accredited. And this is important because as I researched other radon mitigation bids, some had BBB complaints. Genesis Radon had no complaints. He also offers multiple warranties: Lifetime effectiveness warranty means your values will always be at or below 3.9pCi/L; a 30-year workmanship warranty, and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the mitigation fan. After installing our system, Adam set up his radon testing equipment and ran a test for 3 days. The result? We are UNDER 1.0pCi/L. Based on his expertise, quality of work and our results, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Genesis Radon for your mitigation needs!

Do NOT work with David Kicielinski or through this company Mold and Asbestos Contracting, LLC. I…read morerequested a quote from David for a flooring project to be completed at my house. The work was left half done when the trim was not put in. Immediately, I purchased the appropriate trim per his recommendations and, despite exhaustive efforts to contact him, David would never respond. 6-8 months after the scheduling of the flooring job, the trim was never completed as part of the agreed project and cost. When trying to obtain a response to complete the work, I received disrespectful statements made by his subcontractor, Brian Corl. The lack of respect and character demonstrates this is not an individual and/or company to be trusted for your house projects.

Disappointed to be writing this review. Unfortunately this company told my senior mother that they…read morecould do the repairs she asked for when they stopped by to give her a quote. When they returned to do the work, the final product was extremely disappointing and her house was left in worse shape when they left compared to when they arrived. The contractor replaced door hinges and the door thresholds. When they left, doors were falling off of the hinges and she also couldn't properly close her front door. They also removed awnings from the front of her house and completely destroyed the portions of the siding, forcing her to get the siding replaced from a different contractor. When we reached out to this business to repair the issues, they accused her of lying (even though we have photos to prove their poor work) and refused to give her a refund. They then blocked her phone number and refused to resolve the issue. The owner should have told her that they were not qualified to do this work, but instead promised something they couldn't fulfill. The owner of this company is extremely unprofessional and clearly takes advantage of their customers.
