My tech Destin obviously did not know what he was doing. Not only did he not only not change the flange, install a new seal, caulk the toilet, he didn't even tighten the toilet down!!!!! I called because I saw my anchor was rusted away and the toilet was rocking.... My toilet is still rocking and now my toilet is having issues flushing. 3. Customer service. I have called times. Every time the very nice dispatchers would apologize for the inconvenience and say that they were trying to contact the manager. I was told that the manager would call me back soon. The cost for the diagnosis was $224.19. The estimate to return & change out the malfunctioning dampener was $836.05. This would have been a total charge of $1,060.24 to replace a faulty $200.00 dampener. Our regular HVAC tech recovered, stopped & replaced the dampener for a total of $385.00. This included re-diagnosing the problem, parts & labor. Problem solved. I would never use Carl Volkman & sons HVAC LLC again. Their prices are exorbitant & unfair.

As someone who works in construction, I was disappointed to find that the other contractors were quick to complain about the challenges our home presented, and that their estimates reflected an unwillingness to think outside the box. When we proposed installing a high-velocity mini duct system to maximize our limited space, the other contractors were either inexperienced or unwilling to consider the project, instead producing estimates that were outrageously expensive (i.e. multiple full-size systems), not possible without major interior renovations/obstructions, or a combination of the two.
