Prices are a little bit higher than a typical thrift store, but still very reasonable. A lot of great items all around. Loved all the records, cowboy boots, etc. My daughters found a couple belts and pieces of jewelry, my oldest found an Elvis Presley record. I found an amazing wool collared jacket that was on display in the window. Tried it on and decided it was definitely worth $20! We were greeted and served with a smile. When I was a kid, my mom always loved thrifting up north so I suggested we check this shop out. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and all the staff we came across were super friendly. For a small town, they had a pretty good selection though I didn't find my style of clothing in my size. I did however find a mug that had been beloved for over a year and a super cool vintage rain hat. It actually rained a few hours after, so I think the hat brought it on - I love rain! Prices are reasonable and similar to a lot of items I see in the valley. Very scenic views outside, so if you are in the area check out this quaint thrift shop!

J & J Antiques sits at the edge of Cottonwood's Old Town and looks from the outside like a relic from the gold rush era (which it probably is). Inside, it's a seemingly never-ending warren of what can only be called "shops". You know, an antique collective filled with little stalls, each specializing in whatever oddity the vendor sees fit to hunt down and resell. There's everything in here from the booth reselling Scrabble tiles to the guy reselling irons. I walked out of here with 3 unique necklaces for what I thought to be a most reasonable price but that's only because I exercised restraint. In today's disposable culture, these kind of shops are in sharp decline. I might not want all of the stuff on display here but I sure do want to look at it all. Cottonwood's historic district is filled with similar shops but J & J Antiques is the first place I'd send you to. They literally have everything a shop like this should. Great place.

We came in to the store at 4:40 today. When we came in the employee told us "you have 20 minutes,…read moreor less". We understood that they close at 5, so we knew that we had a short time to shop but we were excited to come support this thrift store and ended up being treated so rudely! We enjoyed the selection of items and found somethings we were excited to purchase but the employee followed us around, turning off lights, and making us feel so unwelcome. I would probably return to shop because of the good selection and decent prices, but I would hope to treated a little more kindly.
