The finished job was on-quote and finished within an excellent time-frame. The Polish guys who did the work did a fantastic job and you could see they really enjoyed working with a lovely product. The end result is exactly what we wanted and we now wish Tim and the Poles had done all the brickwork and roofing too. We would have no hesitation in having them back or referring them unreservedly to anyone else. Top job, nice attitude and good people who treated our home as they would their own. Thank you!

Garden center with lots of different plants!…read more It was a hot summer day and a good place to meet people. So peaceful. We ordered tea, cupcakes, brie sandwich and for me a lovely caramel sundae. The price for the ice cream was £3.50 and the size was huge. What you got for your money was so much more than I had expected. The restaurant is conveniently located off the main shopping area where you can get all sort of flowers and other plants, even a Jacuzzi for £9000, if you have the money to space. The garden dolls (dogs, cats, lambs etc are adorable). We placed ourselves conveniently on a table in the winter garden. It was too hot to sit outside on the terrace. Yes you heard right, too hot :-) There were open views onto the garden center back garden. If you are a local, this is an ideal place to spend a few hours and explore, especially when the sun is shining.

Been back again this time to see if the improvements have settled down. They had and I have…read morefeatured some of them. The Restaurant has been settled to morning, dinner and tea sessions. The spaces between the various sections far more browse area, still no Aquaria apart from Pool supplies, and the outside has a patio extension just outside the café with all the garden furniture together with all the compost you could ever need. Still only the kids area is to be built.

In addition, it also stocks a large range of tropical and cold water fish as lots of other pet supplies. My son loves to look at all the fish and its a great attraction if you have small children. During Christmas they also have loads of Christmas Decorations and lights up which the children really love. They also have invested a lot in a wonderful new food court. It serves a limited range of food for such a large area and its reasonable quality if not a bit pricey - the made to order pizzas are great. There are plenty of tables and it feels spacious plus it has a number of different baby chairs and the baby changing facilities are OK but not great. One strange error they seem to have made is the size of the adult trays - they are so small you cannot fit two plates on them and two cups and saucers without piling them on top of each other - which defeats the point of having a tray in a lot of cases. I pointed this out to a couple of the staff and they laughingly agree with me but nothing gets changed. What really lets this place down though is the staff. The general staff are pleasant enough but dont go out of their way to help you - they will point you in the general direction of something but wont actually show you. Or if you ask about a product they wont offer an alternative if they know the one you want isn't available. The catering staff are worse though. They are incredibly slow and surly. I have been overcharged a couple of times and when you point this out you dont get any apology, just a blank stare. It's really sad when a business invests so much in the bricks and mortar and the staff let them down so badly.

Good that there were 5 or 6 staff members, sort of milling around, none of whom bothered to find out why I wasn't eating anything after ordering food. I often use the coffee shop, mostly in the morning, but also had some good lunches. Staff very attentive and can answer most of your questions. As most garden centres also has bbqs, furniture, tools, gifts and books. Worth a visit.
