I was SOOOO HAPPY AND excited to finally do something like this for myself and have a nice clean car, until I tried to use my Defrosters and heater and nothing is working, radio buttons make the heater turn on and off now, none of my radio or heater buttons do anything they are suppose to. I immediately try to troubleshoot and when I realize it's no good I message back Alex and let them know immediately, asking if this is normal. No reply yet , but I hope they will understand paying 450 for my car to be cleaned and it come out damaged even if it is older is not what a 5 star detailing services would do. Hopefully they will issue a partial refund so I can now go pay to fix my electronics . I will recording my cars now in the condition before and after any car service to a sound this in the future . Great detailing but there were multiple soaking wet surfaces where they just soaked it in cleaner with little care about how it seeps into the electric components. Update: will be going back in in Friday to have them completely dry out the interior and hopefully fully dry behind the button panels! Thank you guys for caring!

Car Detailing Recommendation…read more I would like to share a recommendation with anyone thinking of any type of car detailing work. We recently made two long scratches on both sides of our car by driving through shrubs on a narrow dirt road. They were mainly noticeable in the sunlight, so they were not terrible, but still needed fixing. This made it more challenging to fix. We took it to Silverdale Detailing where Larry Harrell did a super nice job cleaning up some car seats from my husband's 1981 Landcuiser he is restoring. We dropped the car off in the morning, and when we picked it up mid-afternoon, we were amazed and couldn't be more impressed with Larry's work! Not only were the scratches completely gone, other marks I thought were permanent were also gone and the entire car looked like new, inside and out!! My car is 11 years old, but really looks brand new now! Every part of the car sparkles, including the tires, wheels... everything! To top it off, the cost was really so reasonable. We could not be more pleased!

BIG MISTAKE, now three-ish years into the ordeal. They couldn't make the simple initial Kenwood…read morestereo install function properly, so swapped it out for a Pioneer and a "dash kit". Turns out the kit that was installed was a dual something or other, when it should have been a single. Learned this from an external diagnosis for malfunctioning HVAC control (I would get heat in summer and air in winter). Apparently these dash kits are known to have "issues". The Pioneer sporadically crashes out and reboots itself... or doesn't. CarPlay often fails. The reverse camera (I believe related to dash kit) is still very dark. I could go on. So three-ish years later - and frequent contacts/visits to problem solve without costing me anymore than the $2,000 or so initially put into this nightmare, come to find out that the Pioneer was installed "off the books" and therefore NO WARRANTY. And no records period prior to October 2025 due to not-so-ironic bankruptcy. They have thrown their hands in the air and given me a printout for how to reboot the system myself (which only lasts for so long), and puts the onus on me. I can't speak to the new ownership in Washington, but I strongly advise against taking a costly gamble with Silverdale CarToys. Shout-out to the Salem, Oregon location -- who unfortunately can't do anything with this mess, but have given some valuable insight and advice.
