Couldn't even get parked without being stuck many times. We moved down the the block to Edgewater and we're much happier. Pros: - There was room at the inn! - They take credit cards - You can use their indoor hotel pool if you want - All 14 RV sites are 50 amp full-hookups - 7 of the 14 RV sites are pull-through - They have laundry facilities in the RV park area. 3 washers and 3 dryers. Both take US quarters. - They have WiFi* - Mostly shaded** Cons: - *The WiFi, while strong, had precious little Internet bandwidth provisioned for it. Super slow and sometimes would be nothing. - **If you use a roof-mounted satellite dish, it's unlikely you will get a signal, though we got super lucky in site 1 - The train! Yeah, the tracks are next to the RV park and the trains are plentiful. They are fast and loud but they do not sound their horns, so that's good. There was no temp posted at the hot pool, but if I had to guess, I would guess in the 104-105 range. Perfect. The large pool was the perfect temp for just bobbing around and relaxing. Not too hot, not too cold. Just right. The resort sells a variety of frozen pizzas and things like that, so if you like really good food, bring your own and cook in either your cabin or camper. It is obvious that the owners are putting in some great effort to make a beautiful place, where people can have a great experience. I am looking forward to our next visit.

They have two huge industrial exhaust fans that create so much noise its difficult to hold a conversation at that end of the pool. It's not peaceful. It sounds about as loud as an airline flight. Way more decibels than you realize. The pool area sounds like an industrial warehouse. Why could they not position the fans outside, away from the building, drawing the ventilation quietly? 2. The locker rooms. C'mon guys! They are vintage 1960 -70. The locks don't work. Spider webs on the windows. Kinda funky.

The whole place was extremely clean and comfortable. We were thankful for the Cottonwood after a long day of driving! We also were glad we didn't have to go somewhere for dinner. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant. Garret was our server- he did a great job and made us laugh. Breakfast was equally delicious. The restaurant itself is spacious, bright and staff attentive. The only improvement would be to fix the jets on the hot tub near our room. Only 2 jets worked, but it was still a relaxing way to end our long day.
