Situated on the old premises of what used to be Indii, now is Royale India. They've made some great changes to the decor of the restaurant - both inside and out - and if you love Indian food, you'll love it here.
Right from the start, the staff were welcoming. We were seated right away and you couldn't help but notice the nice colourful decor and the authentic Indian music playing. Their menu is wide and varied and has a good selection of Vegan options if that's you.
The Samosas were really good. The pastry was nice, crisp and moreish and the filling was perfect with just the right amount of tang. For main, the Butter Chicken was also cooked perfectly (though there was a slight hint of a processed taste to the chicken, which I didn't really love), and the sauce was magnificent. The garlic naan and rice were also perfect. They had been very accommodating in any request we had to have meals modified, which was very good and helpful.
Would I recommend coming here? Yes, I would. Very much. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and accomodating, the pricing is reasonable, and along the lines of many other restaurants. Parking at times can be a little hard, but right now it's easy enough, but don't let anything deter you from trying it here because you'll be glad you did. read more
