Don't let these clowns ANYWHERE NEAR your property. Jim knocked stone blocks out of my foundation…read morewith the skid-steer loader; said he'd return to repair but hasn't. Billed me for $2600 for carpentry trim upgrade to entry; was a 2x4 nailed crooked to the existing post. I tried to witness most of the one-day job but had to leave for 1/2 hour at lunch. Returned to find 4 guys IN MY FRUIT TREES like zoo animals, testing the limbs for strength. The trucks tore up the yard with 8" ruts because of course, they just drive where-ever to get close to the house, Jim again saying he'd be back to repair but NOPE! This was the most regrettable choice I've made and i hope that this may save you some remorse. And he uses the cheapest materials available, cutting all corners and complained bitterly anytime I challenged him. Ultimately, you have choices - and you have every reason to expect to get what you've paid for. This ISN'T that. If this is your only option, modify the contract to partial payment and total upon SATISFACTORY COMPLETION. Otherwise Jim Muir will leave the promises in the past and you won't see him again... I had to hire another outfit to get the place presentable; Jim couldn't have cared less... Now read my first line again and consider how much extra you want to pay for the GIMIC of a one-day roof.

I had issues with my insurance com- USAA- stating I only needed partial repairs, etc- not a whole roof replacement. Jim and another roofing con tractor both said I needed a new roof. Jim agreed to talk with USAA with me as USAA informed me the homeowner has to be involved in the call. , said he would have the roofer take pictures. When it came time ( after the new roof, soffets , etc were installed) to call USAA- Jim did not answer my texts, phone calls. He finally sent a text stating he tried to call the insurance company, and I have a substandard policy. That was the end of it. I had a male friend go up and look at my roof- "not the best roof job I've seen"..

We undertook a large remodel project that included a new roof, windows, siding, and gutters than…read moreran from July-November. This two-star rating does not reflect the quality of work performed by the individual sub-contracted companies, which final product was satisfactory after timely repairs. The low rating is due to a significant lack of communication with Ridge Top, and unfinished work. Sub-contracted crews showed up on-site unannounced or changed their work schedule without notice from Ridge Top. We were informed we did not need to be home on days only outdoor projects would be completed, and yet crews were ringing the doorbell asking for instructions about installation that was not provided to them by Ridge Top (window orientation, down spout locations, etc). This interfered with work-from-home meetings. During siding work, the doorbell circuit was closed by poor nail placement causing it to run continuously. This resulted in both the door bell and transformer to become overheated and melt the bell chime cover inside the house. This was replaced by an electrician in a timely manner. Significant work-site debris was left in the yard, and Ridge Top's project managers shared our alarm at the final walk through. Together, we picked up roofing brackets, pail-full of nails we have collected with our own magnet, trimmed pieces of fascia/soffit/siding, and whole shingles. When we signed with Ridge Top we specifically asked, and were assured, that the new window trim would match the existing size, eliminating the need for additional significant drywall and paint repair. After 2 separate measurement appointments before installation, the finished trim installed on 13 windows was significantly smaller. We raised this concern during installation and at multiple walkthroughs, but it was repeatedly ignored. At the final walkthrough, Ridge Top acknowledged the extensive repairs required to both drywall and painting, and offered to provide compensation if we could get a quote from our own painter. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after the quote was shared with Ridge Top and multiple un-returned phone calls, they reversed this decision citing generic contract terms. This situation would not have been an issue had Ridge Top honored their initial assurance of minimal repairs or addressed the problem promptly. Instead, the lack of transparency and follow-through has resulted in unnecessary additional expenses and frustration.

After fighting for six months with my insurance company to pay for a new roof due to hail damage, I…read morethought the worst was over with. Little did I know..! They not only charged two grand over the price quoted, they filed a lien on the property even though they knew I was in the process of taking out a bank loan to pay for it. This was after they had already received eleven thousand dollars (almost all that was due). Ironically, they're filing of the lien might be the the thing that sinks the loan, as it is a HELOC. Greedy, greedy company. As for the quality of the work, I am pretty sure I didn't get my money's worth. There are items on the invoice that I am certain they didn't do because Jeff, the guy in charge told me they weren't going to do, but he told me he would be billing insurance for anyway. They got it all done within a single day with a bunch of guys who didn't speak English. Their sign will be going in the garbage today.

Their reasonable bid made it possible for us to add a third window replacement that we weren't initially considering. Scott was wonderful to work with as we contemplated our choices. We especially appreciate that he didn't try to oversell us; in fact, he offered a different option on the third window replacement that actually brought the price down a bit. It's also a much more functional window; we love it. Scott also didn't rush us on our decision, and the crew that came out was polite, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly after finishing. Our house looks great--we love the result!

They failed to install kick plate at back door, and failed to install master blocks around one electrical outlet and doorbell (so cannot use). Kick plate was later installed, but not master blocks, even though they have sent people out several times (and once told me it had been done--I was sick and unable to check). The worst thing is that the color is not as shown on the manufacturer's website ( Cedar Knolls, "Cactus"). It is grey, not green. It also does not match the mock-up Infinity sent me via email so I could see what it looked like on my house. They did not have a siding sample on their wall when I went to pay my deposit (they had lots of others). The house looks terrible. They have sent different people out to look at the color on at least 4 occasions. They say it doesn't matter what the color looks like on the website or mock-up, the one the put on is called 'Cactus'. Today they came out and then called to tell me they were going to put a Lien on the house if I didn't pay the balance--and the job is not even finished! My husband and I are both vets and disabled and in our 70s (one of their big selling points was they "love" veterans). They told me Norandex would take $500 off the balance, or put up some kind of contrasting color on part of the front of the house--I can't even imagine how awful that would look! All I want is the green shown on the website and in the mock-up. This was a very expensive project for us. $500 would not make up for ruining the exterior of our house. EDIT: As soon as this Yelp review posted, ai got a phone call from Infinity saying a man 2ould be out right away to installl the blocks on the back wall and the doorbell. He installed only the block on the back wall. I have posted labeled photos from the Norandex website, the mock-up, and the actual siding. As I said, zi asked to see a sample of the siding when I dropped off my deposit, but they said they did not have one We had gotten 5 estimates and I had looked at dozen of swatches. No one be expected to keep them all straight. As to seeing it in different conditions, over the course of their several visits they saw it in sun and shadow. As to Norandex's offer of the batten stuff, I was never shown an example of even what that is, but i only want horizontal siding, as I ordered. I am not opposed to paying for satisfactory work, but we have not reached that stage yet. I am just very sick of being jerked around by them. If they or Norandex came up with a reasonable offer, I would consider it. $500 off a major project is a joke. Our house has depreciated more than that due to the horrible siding color. At the very least, both companies misrepresented the colors they are selling. Most companies want to do right by their customers because it takes at least 3 new customers to make up for one lost one.
