The therapist definitely know what they are doing, and they take the time to get every inch of your body, and they also ask you if there are certain areas you would like them to focus on. The facial was a partial one, and wow to me it seemed like the full service; i can imagine what the full one includes that one is 70 dollars. So if your in the area, and just need a good tune up, this is the place. I asked the manager why did they have no reviews on yelp, he said there in Mexico they use more Instagram or Facebook, but i gave him a tip, people like me who don't have social media rely on yelp, so he should subscribe. The resort doesn't let outside massage people come to you, so the spa just handled it: Maria, a driver they trust, picked us up and dropped us off, about 30-60 min each way. Super easy to deal with, too - they mostly do everything over WhatsApp, and Gina (the owner) had it all sorted out for us. Before we started they had us fill out a quick little survey on what we wanted worked on, and they actually stuck to it during the massage. The place itself has this industrial-but-cozy, zen vibe going on - very chill. They've got a shower to rinse off before you start, and they even give you your own little scrub for it, which was a nice surprise. The therapists were seriously amazing, some of the best massages we've ever had, and they use a little sound bowl to signal when it's starting and ending, which felt like such a nice touch. We got the 2-hour couples massage, and after they brought out tea and a fruit tart - felt way more like a retreat day than a spa appointment. It was relaxing, but it did take much longer than I expected. I had planned 1 to 1.5 hrs, but it took closer to 2 to 2.5 hours as I had to call ahead to my next appt to let them know that I would be late. I would go back, but I'd plan to have an open afternoon. Others were coming in for massage appts and stated how much they enjoyed them that they had to come back again in the same week. Good to know for our next visit.
