Excessive amount of spices and salt. It is sad that so many Indian restaurant drown out the dish by pouring seasoning over it. We received a courteous service but ambiance was dark and overly decorated. There are so many Indian restaurants that have started to serve authentic & delectable food and go beyond putting picture of elephant and Taj Mahal on the wall. It is my hope that Granoble too will see one of them rise to the occasion for the joy of consumers. read more

Perfect place, staff is very friendly, and food is delicious. Perfect place to visit with groups as well. In my opinion one of the best Indian restaurants in Grenoble. read more

One can find excellent Indian Taste in this restaurent, which is much rare in Grenoble. I love their dishes but thie " Mix Grill " is simply unresistable. too much delicious bar B Que in the traditional Indian Four which contains different type of meat, Beef, Fish, Prawns, etc. i recommend this dish strongly. then their atmosphere is too cultural which looks like u in India in fact. the only problem which i found there is that one can not find place unless reserved on Weekend. the Best place for indian cuisine in the town. situated in just city centre with easy access. its interior decoration, taste of different dishes, and then very light background music reminds one of the typical indian culture and gastronomy. Royal Tandoori is a famous restaurant in Grenoble offers Indian dishes. The cuisine is excellent and the atmosphere is found nowhere else, except in India. Let me preface by saying that the Indian food I have fell in love with is the Basamati rice, chicken Ttkka masala and palek paneer of the United States. So any review I may write about the Indian food in Grenoble, France is going to be a comparison to that for me, so take it with a grain of salt, so to speak. I went to the closet indian restaurant to my hotel, which happened to be Le Prince Indien. They had a buffet for 20€, which I was excited about, especially after looking at the buffet and finding out they had some of my favorite standbys. There was chicken Tikka Masala, Basamati rice, samosas, tandoori chicken, some kind of lamb marrow dish, a sort of Indian Meatball dish, and palek paneer without the paneer cheese. So I guess it was just palek. And they brought a great big bottle of water and some naan to the table. The chicken tikka masala tasted like tandoori chicken that had a watered down tomato based sauce with onions and red peppers in it. And the paneer had butter inside it, which I didn't care for. SO I had to take a star away for that. C'est la vie, right? All kidding aside, everything was very flavorful and I sincerely enjoyed it. If I lived here, I would be here once a week getting my Indian on.
