Stayed here for two nights as a belated birthday weekend with the other half.
What an absolutely amazing place we couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in.
We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome at the reception and shown to our room.
We were in one of the king rooms which was very nice. Decent size room very nicely decorated, with modern furniture and the usual extras such as tea, coffee, biscuits, mini fridge, iron, ironing board and hair dryer.
Breakfast - There was a continental spread with croissants, cereal, fresh fruit and more as well as a resident menu that you could order hot food from.
Evening meal - we only managed a starter and a dessert as we'd eaten a big meal at lunch. We had the honey and wholegrain mustard glazed pork chipolatas, baked goats cheese wrapped in parma ham and some truffle parmesan and chive skin on fries. All were well cooked, extremely tasty and well presented
Desserts we had the sticky toffee pudding & butterscotch sauce and the milk chocolate and baileys cheesecake bought beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
The cheesecake was very thick and smooth and you could definitely taste the baileys.
All in all absolutely fantastic hotel, fabulous staff would highly recommend this place. Will be back here soon read more
