I was appalled at the rudeness in The tone of her voice. My fiance and I have never had to get a ring resized before, we are new to this. Jean went on a rant to us about how she's been doing this "for forty years" and I just stood there wondering how she's gotten away with such awful customer service for that long. Jean did agree to take the ring back and fix the prongs and buff the band, although she denied that they were the ones that messed them up. After this encounter I learned that my fiancé and I are not the only ones who have had this kind of experience at Jeans Jewelers. TWO other couples I know have had similar experiences. One of them simply asked a worker at Jeans if they could copy down their diamond number for security reasons, and Jean rudely intervened and told them that if they thought their diamond was going to get stolen then they shouldn't hand it over. Good way to comfort Your clients! And my other friends had a bracelet resized and when it came back wrong and they brought it back, Jean was not happy to satisfy their needs. Look, I get that she has Been in the business for a long time, but that is no excuse for being hostile toward your customers. I will never recommend Jeans Jewelers to anyone. And I highly suggest you steer clear if you want a pain free process for your jewelry needs!

I have just heard so many stories where jewelers ruined these precious pieces, and I couldn't bear for something like that to happen to the ring and bracelet that has been passed down in my family for generations! Unfortunately, the bracelet's link wore down and snapped. A few of my friends recommended me to go to Nicolles Jewelry Designs to have it repaired. I was very nervous to give my heirloom to anyone, but I decided to trust my friends, and boy am I glad I did! Within a few days time, my bracelet looked new, which is amazing considering the bracelet is so old! I was stunned at the quality of their work. I was not able to tell that it broke in the first place! After this, I made the decision to let them fix up my ring as well. It was starting to be a bit tight on my finger and a couple of diamonds were missing. Even though I was still a bit nervous, they definitely did not disappoint me! The ring looked better than ever! All the scratches on the ring were completely gone! Not a trace of the scratches remained and the ring fit perfectly on me! The ring was actually sparkling! I never knew diamonds could be so beautiful! They taught me how to clean my ring so that it would stay sparkly and shiny. My mother was stunned when she saw the pieces. She said she never thought that the ring and the bracelet could look so wonderful! I have been going to Nick and Inna for several years now. I have bought a couple pieces from them as well! I have received so many compliments about them and I hope that one day they will become family heirlooms as well! Horrible experience! All I needed was simple ring sizing....it was not ready by the date…read morepromised, and no one called to notify me that it wasn't ready. One pointless trip made to the store. When it was finally "ready," the settings were a yellowish color, the colored diamonds were a distinctly different color, and three diamonds were missing! No way am I accepting that kind of service. The jeweler did "polish" away the yellow and replaced the missing stones (which of course had to special ordered). Three weeks later it was "ready" again, and I was told the store would be open 9:30-5 the following day. I arrived a little after 4:00 only to discover they had closed early for a memorial service (um, I'm sure this friend didn't die the night before, so why didn't they tell me they would be closing early when they called me?). Two pointless trips made to the store. Next day I called to make sure they would be open, and went to pick up my ring. Diamonds are obviously a different color than when I first brought in the ring. Sales clerk cannot help me, and I have to make an appointment to meet with the jeweler. Three pointless trips made to the store. I meet with the jeweler, express my concerns, show him a picture of the original, and ask for him to replace what he has damaged. He tells me that it was impossible to change the color of the diamonds, refuses to compensate me for the ring, and would not let me take back MY OWN property unless I signed off on his "acceptable" services. Four pointless trips made to the store. And I still do not have my ring back. I filed a complaint the the BBB, and am still waiting for this to be resolved. The bottom line is that the jeweler damaged my colored diamonds when he sized my ring because he DID NOT take any of necessary precautions for protecting these stones from the heat of his torch. To make matters worse, when I questioned his services was a complete ass hole! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE, AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK.

(I did not realize that this person runs some classes out of the gift shop he apparently also owns.) A few days before the class, I forwarded my email confirmation (that included the specifics of what exactly I had signed up for) to the email contact (apparently the owner) and said I hadn't received the details for the workshop and could they please send me any details I needed. I was told in the description it states the info would be sent 24-48 hours in advance because it depends on weather. Okay, no problem. On the day of the class, I emailed again; we were about 5 hours out and I hadn't received anything. I received a reply back that there were no workshops that night, there was a class, and if it was the class then I had already received all the info I needed when I booked it and if it's a workshop, check my spam folder. I, at this point, was worried I had paid $90 to a scam or something because this was definitely the correct date. I tried calling the phone number listed but no one picked up. I replied and reiterated exactly what I was signed up for, acknowledging that apparently I didn't use the right word (the owner differentiates between classes and workshops, but they're both mentioned all on the same website page, and my email confirmation says I got a "workshop discount" so this was absolutely not clear). I stated I didn't really understand what was going on but I had no location details, so what was I missing? The owner replied with how offended he was that I thought this might be a scam, didn't appreciate MY attitude, and that he had answered that way because I said "workshop" and HE DOESN'T HAVE THE TIME to specifically look up all the right information before responding. Then he pasted the details from the class page, but inserted the location information as if it had been there originally (it hadn't, and I have screenshots that show he changed it). I was furious, and did not respond because at that point, it would just be to argue and point out that I ALSO do not have the time, which is why I asked my question by forwarding my email confirmation with all of the relevant information I had. We decided to cut our losses and not bother trying to go to the class. This is supposed to be an instructor, teaching beginners, but he was SO incredibly rude, entitled, and condescending I just could not imagine anything productive coming out of trying to meet him and somehow learn from him. And given his attitude and the verbiage on the website, I didn't bother trying to ask for a refund. At least we saved gas by not bothering to go. I really wish I had researched more before booking this; the Google reviews on his little gift shop store include ones that also reference how rude he is, and Yelp was even more telling. (He also apparently likes to argue with any negative reviews! As I'm sure he'll argue with this one, which is why my Google review includes screenshots of the entire thing, minus my personal info.)
