The scheduler on the phone was extremely efficient and pleasant, and the cab driver arrived on time and even called to let me know she was outside. The cab itself was clean and well-maintained, and I had a very nice chat with the personable driver. I got from UMich N. campus to DTW in 28 minutes, absolutely no hitches. Better than the nearly $70 I paid for Metro Cab. I'd definitely recommend this service if you are looking for airport or taxi service around Ann Arbor, especially if you're doing research at UMich -- they know their way around campus.

I had to return to Michigan for a funeral and was looking for two SUVs to transport my family throughout the day. DTW Detroit Airport Car was the first to respond, the least expensive - several hundreds less, and the most communicative through Yelp, text, email or phone. The drivers were great, professional and helped our family in a time of need. Next time I need vehicle transportation while in Michigan, I would contact them first!

I called him because I live in Novi, my car is down, and I need a ride to Henry Ford hospital Thursday morning. I called him to find out if he could do it, and he told me that he doesn't make local runs. If he doesn't do local runs, then he should not say that he's a Novi/Bloomfield cab or taxi service. That would be false advertising. I regard that as unprofessional. If he no longer does local runs, then he should state that he does not do local runs.

The way they hire at this place is by reference only. So you get one bad egg and they bring all the other bad eggs into work and you get a company that can't even put up a real website that allows you to leave a review. Theirs a reason yelp is the only place you can leave a review about this place. They have their website set up so that you can't leave a review.

The vans reek like smoke (at 7 months pregnant.. are you serious? I don't want to sit and breathe that crap in). One driver even got on my case for getting pregnant out of wedlock (didn't see my ring...?), such weird and rude drivers. Now today, it is 2 hours passed my pickup and still nobody is here. The company keeps sending me to voicemail. It is over 80 degrees outside, I'm 7 months pregnant, and the building of my appointment is now closed. I have no choice but to sit stranded in the heat at 7 months pregnant. Literally can't believe this situation. SO disappointing. UPDATE: second weekly infusion now that they have not shown up to pick me up. Over an hour late now. This company is entirely unreliable, had to call a lyft home last appointment because the building closed and the heat was too much while pregnant.

Ok, I'm leaving 5 stars for Chesterfield Cab because I didn't even think it was an option as it was…read morerated 1 star. I live in Chesterfield and my husband had a stroke recently so I''m the only driver. I needed a test at the hospital and was unable to drive home myself. I called the Chesterfield Cab number, got someone immediately and set it up the night before. I had to move the time up earlier and change the hospital location at the last minute - all no problem. The driver was from Suburban cab, very professional, reasonably priced and courteous. He even knew a shortcut to get there. I was on time. The cab had great air conditioning - it was 90 and very humid. We had to wait on the return cab about 25 minutes - that's the only thing I would knock off a star for BUT we do not have a lot of cabs in this area cruising around all the time. This is not NY, Chicago or California. It wasn't that big of a deal anyway. We just waited at the door. The rate home was about the same as the rate there even though the traffic was heavier. Overall, this cab company is my new best friend, because I now know there is a service I can call if I get into a pickle like this again. It's also a service I recommend to friends. I would caution everyone against leaving nothing but bad reviews for businesses. In this case, I truly didn't even think I could call this company. That's just wrong. Please be responsible Yelpers. On that note, please know these are not spiffy NYC cabs-but if you need a ride and don't want to hire a limo, they are more than good enough =D EDIT: I wanted to add that they said they serve most of the Macomb county area up to Richmond and down to 8 Mile, and go as far west as Rochester in some cases.

This is the reason that 5 stars. There was no confirmation I only had x amount of minutes before they leave. One of their female drivers came to pick me up. She did call to let me know she was outside but didn't answer the phone whan I called her back to confirm I'm at the door looking for her. I've never had anybody leave me stranded they just turn the meter on. The dispatcher did not make it any better blaming me opposed to offering to just send another car out & confirming they should be there in x amount of minutes. She knew I still had to get home. God is good I did not have to walk home in a dress in the dark in the cold in Michigan in November. I don't think it was too much to at least call me back and say hey Lisa we have to be out of here in 60 seconds or I will have to go to my next run. Some kind of follow-up. I have to give consideration two customers at my job when I interact with people even if it's not the company's fault. Shouldn't be too much to ask for the same follow through especially since I've called a cab everyday this week spending almost $100 plus I tip. I guess this didn't matter. Just disappointing
