I was assigned an ADA accessible room - not needed just what I was assigned and that was fine. When I entered, I noticed there was no shower curtain, I thought maybe that it on purpose although it would make quite a mess with the overhead shower and was probably a slip hazard. I figured I would have to use the handheld shower head and ask the next morning. It was late so I did not want to bother the staff. Water still went everywhere but I had extra towels available. The next day I asked the front desk if accessible rooms were supposed to have shower curtains and she said yes, I said Ok well mine does not. She asked for the room number but I explained I do not like people in the room when I am not there and would be back in a couple of hours. She still asked for my room, and I said again I will give it when I get back. When I returned... my room would not open. I had to try 4 times before it finally opened. The lock would turn green but the door would not budge. This happened the rest of the stay as well. I called down, and housekeeping was on my floor, so she came very quickly. I was told that this room should have a curtain and the housekeeping manager is supposed to check every room not sure how this was missed. This was a HUGE slipping hazard, especially if I actually needed the accessible room. I let the front desk know when I left that this was really disappointing and on top of this the "refrigerator" in the room did not cool anything. I had some ice packs with me that helped me keep the water cool the first night but by the second night they were no longer cooling either. The Hampton Inn rooms are usually quite spacious with a long desk and spacious bathroom. This was not it. tiny desk in the corner. The area, is easily accessible, there are tons of restaurants minutes from Marketplace at Altamonte Springs and the Altamonte Springs mall. There is a Cracker Barrel and Waffle House just behind and across the street from the hotel. There are also other hotels to choose from... All in all, I would probably find a different Hampton Inn property or a different hotel brand next time.. Do better.

I won't lie, checkin was not friendly, but they turned it around. Things to know are the beautifully updated rooms. The hall carpet is older but ok. The bed is so very comfortable, the room is immaculate, pillows inviting. When we arrived tonight, the problem we had on our first night was beyond resolved. I do recommend this hotel and its staff. I really liked the complimentary drinks and snacks from 5:30-7:00 p.m., and the free breakfast with an omelet-making station was a nice touch. The service was friendly, and the bed was incredibly comfortable--like sleeping on a cloud. The rooms were nice but a bit outdated, and my shower had some mold, which bothered me and made me sneeze. The hot tub had a strong bleach smell, and the seating was uncomfortable--very hard and spiked. The pool area can get crowded with kids, but when it's quieter, it's actually very relaxing. On a positive note, the lobby is modern and well-updated. Overall, I'd rate my stay a 4/5.

Oh, and the omelet chef greets you with a smile as you come into the breakfast area-- makes it feel like a good morning. CONS: We had to change rooms several times (first room, the pull-out bed was broken and wouldn't pull out all the way; second room, the shower didn't drain at all and there was a weird smell blowing out of the vents; third room was fine), front desk staff came off as very smug (and no apologies were made for the inconvenience of us having to move rooms several times with kids and a dog? Maybe that's not a thing anymore?), it took at least 30 minutes for anyone to bring pullout bed bedding or towels to the room both times we called, the Omaha Steakhouse inside was definitely one star (made us sick), the pool deck was nightmarishly dirty (hair, trash, etc), and the hotel didn't seem to know what a vacuum is. BUT- Overall, this hotel met all of our needs nicely. Would stay here again in hopes that the pull-out works, the shower drains, and I'd just ask for the bedding and towels at check-in. The location really is excellent.

No parents or guardians in sight. The entire hotel was filled with loud obnoxious children from cheer competitions and various other sports teams. It should give people warning who want a normal stay that the hotel is going to be overrun with children making noise all night long. She was super rude and never did anything to get back to us regarding our concerns just said she would and never did. It's illegal to remove service dogs from their owners but we found a dog boarder for the remainder of our stay to keep the peace I didn't have time to deal with Ashley and her rude attempts so scare me about the wellbeing of my service animal while was there on a work trip with my spouse.... the least they could have done was reimburse us a night since I had to pay $300 for a dog sitter. None of those things were made right- luckily the medical reason that we have the service dog is for my husbands epilepsy but luckily we didn't have any episodes while we were there without the dog to warn us of the incoming seizure. Also, when he went to speak to her about the situation she said "oh yea I already spoke to that older lady about the dogs before." I'm 38, I'm no spring chicken but that remark was just rude Referring to me. She knew she was being a jerk no real professional conducts themselves like she did and calls to leave voicemails threatening to call animal control bc there are dogs barking in a hotel room. We stayed here for some company related travel and had no issues checking in. We did need to check in early and we paid an additional $25 to do so. The front desk staff SANDEE was an angel. She was absolutely wonderful. Always peppy and helpful. We did have a small mishap during check-in where we were provided a key to a room that had not yet been cleaned up, but that was quickly resolved professionally by Sandee. Their rooms are really nice modern and well kept - they have some collaboration with West Elm. They had a nice desk area that I did some remote work from and is slightly segregated from the bedroom/bathroom area for some privacy and compartmentalization. There is daily complementary breakfast in the lobby. I believe it's from 6 to 9 AM. The food was pretty good and always in rotation. There was standard yogurt, coffee, waffles, some quiche, some breakfast sandwiches, etc.. There is a walkable plaza next-door with some cute restaurants. If you don't have a car if you want to grab dinner or a quick bite. We didn't get to try any of the amenities. They have a basic gym with not a lot of things and also an indoor heated pool which I can see is super beneficial if you happen to be visiting in winter time where it might be a little too cold to take a dip outside. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

The big windows in the back are a huge plus: watching the sunset light fade into the evening during the meal was a highlight. The whole hotel is gorgeous. The contemporary art everywhere gives it a high-end feel that's perfect for business events. Food: the charcuterie buffet was a hit. Everything was set up perfectly and tasted fresh, especially the cheeses (I loved the manchego, it was so soft) and the prosciutto. I was a little less impressed with the mains, though. The risotto felt a bit heavy on the cream and was a little too al dente to my taste. The ribeye was cut and cooked in a way that felt more like pork than steak. Everything else I tried, the asparagus, the salmon, and the salad, was pretty good though. Service: every staff member was super friendly and fast, especially the valet guy. I'm definitely planning to come back to check out Hamilton's Kitchen. The bar and dining area look very inviting and classy.

The location is extremely convenient and you don't need a car to wander around the main drag and Rollins campus. The wedding I went to was just downstairs in the event space and they have a beautiful courtyard we could use as well. The only negatives were the toilet seat in our room was completely broken (split in two) and the pool area was not well attended to (no towels when I went and the tables were sticky). Overall though a nice place to stay for a wedding.

The desk was scuffed & very scratched up, the toilet had mold around the bottom, the tub was heavily scuffed, the sink drain was slow & some of the kitchen cupboards had the doors falling off. While the folks at the counter were kind enough, I then was greeted by a lizard in the hallways, an omen of how many bugs would be in this hotel. As I entered my room i saw stained floors, banged-up rusted appliances, scuffed furniture, a leaky bathtub faucet, and a roach. There was some kind of loud fight in the hallway between multiple adults at 1am which took a long time to settle, and while I won't blame the hotel for their customers' behavior, I do think their security response time was very poor, especially considering it was right next to the lobby. Woke up with some bite marks on my foot, naively thought maybe it was a mosquito, but after subsequently waking up with even more bites on both feet and seeing black specks on the sheets, it must have been bed bugs. Asked to switch rooms, and they quietly gave me a key to another room. This room had less rust but a totally ruined bathtub, worse spot stains, and six large roaches roaming the room: on the kitchen counter, in the bathroom, on the headboard of the bed. I turned in the room key and went somewhere else.
