Today was my friend and I first time eating here. We ordered the chili shrimp as an appetizer. Its tossed in delicious sweet and spicy sauce. It was extremely tasty. We ordered our entrees next. I ordered the KORMA -mild creamy curry sauce with chicken. I was pleasantly impressed by the flavor. I will always order it. My friend ordered the MAKHANI- heard of butter chicken , tomato aromatic spice. Our server was very nice and we didn't have to adk for anything. She helped guide us in picking our meals. I'll just say this, when I was working in the Middle East, I fell in love with Indian food. Loved the flavors and the spice of it. Today brought back memories of the food I had there. This visit we tried several appetizers and we liked them in the order of Avacado Jhalmuri, King Salmon & Lime chicken. (Pictures were added) Our main dishes were the Butter chicken and dum chicken. We were divided on which one is the best. The Hyderabadi Murg Dum Biryani chicken looks like a huge pot pie in a bowl. Full of colorful rice and chicken that is wonderfully complex, spicy and easily serves 4 people. The Butter chicken is a great introduction to Indian cuisine and a well known popular dish. For me, the winners tonight are the fun Avacado Jhalmuri appetizer and dum chicken dish. Will order them again and again. After I have tried everything else on the menu. Tip 1: most dishes have a sprinkling of decorative cilantro. Request it without it, if you prefer. Tip 2: plan to have a leisurely dinner. You may can rush through lunch here, but not at dinner. Came here to visit a friend from San Antonio and craved Indian food. Found this restaurant but when the food came, the dish was lukewarm and the portions for the price were not matching the amount of food. The garlic nan bread was too thin and hard and did not taste like garlic. The service was terrible. The waitperson spent more time flirting with a female guest than attending the few people in the restaurant. I will not come back here and I wish them all the best. read more

Was in town for business and decided to look up more adventurous dining options, that evening. This place pulled up in my search and I decided to give it a try. It's a bit tucked away behind a shopping center off MacArthur/hwy 71. But worth the effort. The evening I went there were both several people dining in, as well as people picking up orders to-go. That was a good sign. The server seemed a bit busy, but he did get me seated pretty swiftly. Then I had to catch his attention to ask for a menu and order my drink. The restaurant smelled good inside and was clean and neat. The server explained that he had been newly promoted to the front, and was still getting the hang of things up there. He was decently attentive, though busy. Ordered my entree and a mango lassi, and waited patiently. They may have been a bit short handed in the kitchen because it took a while for me to get my food. Eventually he brought out my food and asked if I needed anything else. I could tell the server was making the effort and that was appreciated! Both my lassi and my food were quite delicious. No complaints overall, food wise. I guess if they got staffed up and service flowed a bit better, that would be my only observation. But I could tell as a small, independent restaurant, they were making the effort. Next time I am back in town I will hit them up again. Definitely a good place for a bit of an exotic but tasty hot meal! read more

We went for the buffet today but there were many issues at the restaurant. The food tasted fine but was not kept warm enough. The service was severely lacking - poor service throughout and downright rude at points. We were not asked if we wanted drinks. Actually I had to ask for water and was given my water in a small paper cup. Management needs to step up and fix the service issues. Definitely room for improvement. read more

Of course it's always tasted very good, but the heat of the food is much better and also the staff was very accommodating and offered to make any dish that I would like if we would let them know ahead of time they even made the sweet donuts for us as we were getting ready to go and did not see them on Buffet Excellent. read more

Food was good, but the service was terrible. They wouldn't honor the coupon I had, even though it was within the expiration date. They charge $3 for a coke, which is normal, except it's a can of coke without free refills. Took forever to get the appetizer. Everything was a super expensive too. The food was cold. The service was bad, took the waitress forever to get back to the table and there was only one table.

i'm so iffy about this place. AMAZING food. so delicious but the staff is so over worked and understaffed. 5 tables with one server. Both being a waiter, hostess, cashier, AND bussing tables. the poor guy was so stressed running in circles trying to help everyone. We waited 15 minutes to get our drinks at all. It's not the guys fault he is just so over worked. I truly felt sorry for the worker, i couldn't imagine how hard it was for him all day. read more
