The…read moreCleaning Service I used this past weekend charged me $359.85 for 3.75 hrs of cleaning to be done by 2 people. 1bedroom and only "partial" cleaning of office/bedroom#2(*partial at my request),livingroom, 2 bathrooms, dining room, and kitchen. Deep cleaning was to include dusting, cleaning baseboards, mopping floors, vacuuming, vents etc. They arrived late, only 1 of the employees came and 2nd person arrived 35-40 minutes later. I received a discount for the time only 1 person was there. After they were done, mintues later, I get a knock at the door to ask me if "everything looked good". Silly me, based on it smelling like it was clean I said "yes". Little did I know, I was supposed to do a walk through inspection to make sure I was happy. That was never mentioned by the owner when setting up appt, or was it listed on her price and cleaning list document. Again the employee didn't say "please do a walk through inspection before we leave". I left my home shortly after they left and was gone for several hours. Returned home, floors felt dirty, and I began to really check all over and to my surprise a lot of things were not done or cleaned properly. Due to the time of evening I waited the next day to contact the owner. The following morning I texted her to let her know(including the pictures and videos), her response was,"you said everything was great." She didn't offer a solution to make it right. What I got was, I've talked to my employees and let them know. Okay?!?!?! Employees get told "do better", but you still have an unhappy customer. I wasn't offered anything to make it right. Can I schedule another appointment to have them come back and do the things that weren't done? Can I offer you a discount on the original service, or a courtesy repeat cleaning? Just silence and no response after stating I was not happy. I didn't want to have to put this out here because I heard and read some good reviews (The reviews mention her name specifically not her cleaning staff). However, she is "not" the one that shows up to do the cleaning now. I truly believe that the employee asking me, "is everything okay", versus "please do a complete walk through before I go", worded it this way, hoping I'd say, "yes it looks great"(when knowing they didn't clean everything as expected). IMO just for them to be able to dispute having to make it right. Clearly this business has received numerous complaints if your staff is having to ask the customer if they are satisfied upon completion. If you have an appointment scheduled please do not make the mistake I did. Check everything before agreeing on services done to satisfaction. Clearly they don't honor satisfaction guaranteed as stated on their website. DM* if you're interested in knowing the cleaning service* to avoid, or atleast make sure you do that walk through. It shouldn't have taken 3.75 hours for 2 people to clean the rooms in my house--even as a deep clean. I feel like they really extended the time as much as possible to charge a minimum of 3 hours. *Morning of the appointment(prior to their arrival) I had already picked up and began cleaning of our main bathroom(tub/shower). I'm glad I didn't tip like I was going to(my gut institution said, "nope")
