probably one of the least inspiring breakfasts i've had in a long, long time. I got the "Royal Benedict". the English muffins weren't toasted, the salmon was diced (diced?) and i'm pretty sure the Hollandaise sauce came out of a can. because i wasn't a guest of the hotel i wasn't allowed to sit in the nearly empty dining room w/ a view of the sea. it took more than 10 minutes to get service to my table even though as least two waitresses saw me.
dial it up Royal Hotel. you've got the view. you're coasting on that and it's not acceptable.
come here, maybe, for a pint on the terrace in the evening, but skip the breakfast. read more
