Actually, it seems to be more than just a roadside pub because it appears that they also run outback tours. In a way this pub is somewhat more touristy, but that is because it is on a major highway which actually bypasses Port Pirie, so it provides for a nice stop so you don't have to go into town. Oh, and they also have some nice beers on tap, which I admit is pretty cool.

This is not all that surprising since the town that it used to support has pretty much disappeared. Look, don't expect all that much from this place, and they don't have beers on tap, however the service is pretty good, namely because like a lot of these country pubs the bartender will simply sit there merrily chatting away with you. Yeah, it was nice, and apparently it does go off on a Friday night.
