Got sucked in by the low price menu on the window and the lovely platters of Chinese food. Once seated, we were promptly offered a pitcher of free water, yay!
The server didn't speak English, and we didn't speak French. Luckily, we had Mandarin Chinese in common to save the day.

Then came the really bad part: My heart sank as the lady scooped our food into small plastic containers and nuked everything in the microwave. Uh-oh. This was not going to be a gourmet dining experience.
To make matters worse, when the bill came, we realized that they had charged us per dish instead of the prix fixe menu.
We consoled ourselves with the fact that the food was still a good value and the staff was nice and attentive. However, this meal couldn't compare to the lovely French food we had during the remainder of our stay in Paris. read more
