Understated elegance is an unusual thing for a take out sushi place to acheive but these guys…read moremanage to pull it off. Their to go menu is the most beautiful I've ever seen. It's straightforward, fish with a couple other ingredients. No cool, possibly inauthentic, flavored sauces like I've gotten used to back home. But their condiments definitely hold a surprise. The soy sauce container is just the COOLEST. Makes the tear open containers just seem low class. And the big surprise is the wasabi. Now this is France. A bottle of Tabasco here is considered a lifetime allotment but the wasabi here will knock you on your butt. I'd love to see an unexpecting Frenchie eat a big ol' dollop o' that!! Makes me smile just thinking of it. So if you're outside of Paris come by, pick up a little sushi to share in the park. Or even better, grab a corner booth, out of view of the take-out crowd and flirt with your someone special in this beautiful little restaurant.

It's just another Chinese restaurants that makes some pseudo Japanese dishes (sushi, sashimi, egg rolls, yakitori...) just because this is more profitable than a long menu of Chinese dishes... If you really want to eat good Japanese food, and not just these stereotypes, without going to Japan, it is better go to Paris 9th district around St Anne street...
