I got a vehicle from them not even driving a week and i took it to the shop. 881 dollars of repairs…read morenot even a week of taking it home. Yes they did help with some of the repair cost after the warranty didnt cover. However not even a week last shes back in the shop because of the Catalytic converter went out. Warranty doesnt cover and i was told when i purchased the car everything checked out and she was fine. I called and talked to the lady who sold me the car, i felt taken advantage of and she threw it in my face i got what i paid for putting $7 down but they took my trade in for $1500. I dont trust them and and would very much like to warn anyone from going there. Not to mention my title to the vehicle. Is not in my name and according to the state of michigan its not mine because of a mess up.

This is my experience with BDS Suspension: I purchased a BDS 7 inch lift kit for my 2012 Toyota Tundra and had it installed by an authorized BDS dealer in early July 2012. Upon completing the installation, it was discovered that this lift on a 2WD 2012 Tundra causes the drive shaft to be too short and unable to mount back to the transmission and rear end. BDS provides no statement of fact that the 2012 2WD Tundra WILL require a modification to the drive shaft. They simply state that modification "may" be required but provide no schematics, no engineering notes, no measurements, no torque values, no material listing, etc. This creates an clear risk that each installer will make parts/spacers/brackets with different specs, different materials and different standards. My installer had to build a bracket from what he felt would be sufficient height, strength, and durability. When I contacted the tech department at BDS to discuss this problem, I was told that driveshafts are not BDS's concern and this was between myself and the installer. I was told first that BDS "engineers" would be looking into this and then told that BDS does not employ engineers to fabricate extension plates for driveshafts and that I would need to take it to a driveline business and pay them to make my shaft work with the BDS lift! Furthermore, he stated that BDS had been aware of this issue for a few weeks prior to my order being placed and stated that is a "BDS Oversight" no to mention this on their website for all subsequent orders. Though BDS offers spacers and driveline drop brackets for Ford and Chevy, they were carefree about this new issue on the Tundra. This is a HUGE SAFETY HAZARD caused by a failure within the Quality Assurance division of BDS. BDS was more than willing to sell the product but their "NO HASSLE" warranty is a joke! They don't care about your truck, your safety, or driving ability. They care about the all mighty dollar more than their customers. I hope I do not have a driveshaft failure due to the engineering faults of this BDS system or I will pursue full legal liability against BDS. Furthermore, their cataloge states that the Fox Coilover would be included in this kit for the Tundra by this point in the year and yet again, BDS failed to deliver. Their Tech rep states "we have no idea when they will be ready". Though I expressed to him that the fox coilovers were the big reason I wanted to use BDS, he was not interested. I went as far as to offer to engineer the specs on an extender/spacer plate and forward that on to BDS since I have to get a spacer done immediately (drive shaft is not fully seated into my transmission due to the installation of this BDS lift and is a safety concern noted by the BDS dealer). The tech rep told me "we don't take kindly to people who try to re-engineer our parts"! Re-engineer what? They don't even offer the part that the truck needs to be a reliable driver after lifting! So let me get this straight... I instal a BDS lift on my new stock truck and can no longer safely drive it and it's not BDS's concern? WOW! STAY AWAY FROM BDS. THEY BECAME AWARE OF THIS ISSUE ("TED" IN THE TECH DEPT) ON DAY ONE AND ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS RECOGNIZE THAT THEY DID ME WRONG, FAILED TO INDICATE PROPERLY WHAT THE DRIVELINE WOULD NEED, FAILED TO PROVIDE A REMEDY PART, AND FAILED TO FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT UP TO ME AND RETAIN CUSTOMERS. STAY AWAY!!! Desired Resolution: I would like BDS to provide me a set of the Fox coilovers when they become available since I will have to spend my time and money to design a spacer for my drive shaft since they clearly do not have this part ready. This is the least they can do to attempt to rebuild their reputation with not only myself but the many folks I have been in contact with that are also unhappy with BDS due to their failures.
