My wife ordered the acheke with fried fish and ordered a plate of jollof to take home. The suya fried rice was my favorite dish. It's one of their own creations but it's a fried rice with suya spice in it. It's not as spicy as I personally like, but I'm a huge fan of spice so I imagine it's a good level for most people. The jollof was also pretty good. I'll say that the chicken and beef in both the jollof and suya fried rice were a little dry, but they had good flavor to them so it can be overlooked. The acheke was standard for what I expect from it. The fried fish could have used a little bit of seasoning but was fine to go with it. Food took about 20 mins to be cooked but I appreciate that it's done fresh. The service was great! Kevin was the one who took our order and helped us with any additional requests while we ate. Definitely love the soul he adds to the restaurant. The ambiance is pretty casual. The one thing to note is that the parking lot can be a bit small so parking may take more than one try if you have a bigger car.

The fish was good and a very generous portion of the entire fish. I especially liked it paired with the pepper sauce and a second fruity sauce. It came with some peppers and onions on top that I would have much preferred cooked to raw. The banku was like nothing else I've eaten - a light texture (like airy porridge). But while I enjoyed trying someting, it was a bit too sour for me. I didn't get through much of the heaping helping. I also ordered a Ghanian beer (called Charm) that I didn't like. It was like a hoppier Miller Lite, and wasn't too refreshing. The restaurant is gorgeously decorated and had a giant screen playing soccer on it. They had very over-loud music on (had I not been solo, it would've been tough to have a conversation). All the servers were very nice and checked on me regularly, but the service was also very slow (especially as I was one of two tables there at the time).
