Dr. Montville is relatively new to the practice, so her schedule is easier to get on, but I imagine it will be filling up fast. She's great. She didn't give me grief about my historically laidback approach to preventative healthcare, she addressed my questions, and kept me informed on what I need to know. The exam was quick, but it didn't feel rushed. Dr. Montville is kind, actively listens to you, and brings a comforting personality to an awkward situation. This practice has let me down more than once, when I went through a miscarriage in January, I wasn't even allowed to see the doctor, despite it having been made very clear I was a high-risk patient for a pregnancy. She asked if my wife did some specific blood tests and when my wife tried to get her history blood tests on her smart phone, she said do that later and fax her the results. I told her that we want to do some tests and she said you don't have to, and when I asked again she said that most insurance plans don't cover these tests and they are expensive!! But she didn't even check if our insurance cover it, or even if we care about how expensive it is!! I was really disappointed from all the time wasted, and we left the office without any benefit from this visit. I see a lot of good reviews for the doctor and that was the reason we went to her, but unfortunately she was not that friendly and helpful with us, and we had a bad experience. And we're not going back again.
