I meant to write this a week ago. My experience here was weird. I just came in for protein bars and…read moreended up having to detail my private business just to get him to stop pushing products I didn't want or can't have. He didn't listen very well and even talked over me when I had a question. He was more interested in driving sales. I've been to other GNC locations and have been made aware of the return policy which is great BTW. They said if something didn't work or I didn't like it, return it and they will help me find something that will work for me. Anyways, I finally got out of the store. My husband was waiting in the car. I opened up one of the bars and tried a bite it was disgusting I spit out. We went and ran other errands before it got too late and then went back to GNC to return the bars of thr same flavors. My first experience was so annoying and awkward we sat in the car debating on who should go in to return it. I wondered if I should go in because he knew I just bought them, or if my husband should go in to cut the BS short so we could go home. We decided to both go in. Had some other protein bars that were the same flavor that I wanted to return. The store was closing in 10 minutes and he didn't seem like he wanted to help me. He kept making jokes about how he wanted to go home, but I think he wasn't joking. He was refusing to exchange or return them, but I wasn't sure if he was kidding so I just stood there until he did something. He said he would figure something out. I told him not to do anything you shouldn't. If I can't return or exchange them, I was fine with it. I understood. He said no and it will be fine. He eventually gave me my money back, which I do appreciate. The process of a return took a little time so I think that's why he didn't want to do it. He wanted to go home. He made it very clear. Plus there were a couple guys that were in there when I went in the first time and were still there over an hour later. I think he just wanted to hang out with them and chat. Friends maybe? He was a nice guy, but he needed to be a little more customer friendly. I get it. I can dish out sarcasm with the best of them, but there's a time and a place for it. The store has great selection. The bars are buy 3 get 1 free. Awesome deal!! There are lots of products, TRUST ME. He showed them all to me.... I will keep shopping at GNC of course but maybe not this location. Unfortunately we're thinking of moving into this area. GNC has become a large part of my life and I don't want to frequent the store that's going to make me feel weird every time.

I was able to do a brief consultation with Mike, who evaluated me, then used some mild pressure to work on the affected area. He said it would gradually get better and I'd be able to return to normal activities within a few days (this was on Friday). I was skeptical since I still could feel the knot/strain, though range of motion had improved, after leaving his office. Later that night, I could feel it getting better and my mobility improving. The next day it was barely noticeable and by Monday, I was back to running and lifting weights. I look forward to continue to work with Great Basin for adjustments and overall injury prevention.

When I woke up my neck was killing me and I needed to get adjusted. Thank heavens he was open on a Saturday! Before our trip I meant to visit my chiropractor where I live in SoCal but wasn't able to. During the exam he used a machine that kind of massaged my spine before he adjusted it. My doc back home doesn't use that but it felt really good. He adjusted me exactly where I needed it, and told me that the soft tissue would still be sore for a couple of days and that I'd need to massage it out. Altogether he was a good doc and listened to what I needed. The visit was $41 and totally worth it. Highly recommend.

He was thorough and very personable. Also cultured. I went first and he started by checking my entire spine to see where the issues were, he educated me on what problems my body was displaying and what he was doing to adjust the issues along with what pain those issues could cause me. My feelings about it & how it felt did not matter to them in the least. They told me that they couldn't take a loss on it, no matter the damage it caused my mouth. Going back to Packard Dental is the biggest mistake I've ever made. They did a horrible job & I am suffering greatly because of it! They do NOT care about their patients in the very least!
