After first calling and leaving a message, then emailing, then texting the third contact method, she got back to us. Seems email was the only method she would answer but it would take 4 days for her to respond. It took way too much back and forth to get the class scheduled! When the day finally came, my husband and I and the other couple showed up to a locked door! She even answered her cell twice and hung up before turning it off. Haven't heard a peep from her since, not even to apologize. On the other hand Groupon was fantastic and gave us a refund.

After being put on hold, and then taking a long time to get all of my data over the phone, she asked me what my first item was. I told her I thought I was setting up an educator account, yet she said, no. To do that, I would have to send a preliminary order in and get a quote for an art educator discount. Who has the time to do this? Why not just tell us what the educator price is per item, or our % discount from the start- like other companies? Total waste of time. To make things worse, I ended up ordering some supplies anyway, without taking the time to get an educator quote. I did this the easy, modern way, via internet. I got a a confirmation email with my order, I used a coupon for a 10% off, and the internet site validated it via my confirmation and credit card charge. I did this to receive my product asap for a upcoming lesson plan. I though everything was taken care of until..... The next day, I get a barely audible voice mail (no email) that tells me that Nasco regrets not being able to honor the 10% off, and asking my permission to charge my card for the full amount. This company is disorganized and completely unprofessional. Beware, especially if you are an art educator!!!

I spent an hour in the area and then I called to ask how much more time is left (not to be impatient, but to see what things I could do while waiting) and I was told it would be another 45 minutes. I started doing something else, and 10 minutes later, I was told it was my turn... that was really unfortunate. When I got there, the staff was super nice and helpful! However, I noticed that I wasn't given all the info other customers were getting. They were told about things like the tools to make textures and what not, but I didn't hear about it until halfway through I was done glazing. I wish there better communication. A great spot though for a calming indoor activity.

From quilting to wood carving there is a class that could interest just about anyone. These creative workshops are the center of what One One Thousand is all about. The concept of such self motivated craftsmanship is a rarity these days. In a world of big box stores ruling the world, or at least America, getting back to the roots of doing it yourself is a breathe of fresh air. The space is big and bright and there is so much to look at around every corner. All the goods are displayed and available for purchase in the space as well. The variety of merchandise One One Thousand has to offer is phenomenal and the quality of craftsmanship is second to none.
