Not a shoe shop that would please Carrie Bradshaw (you won't find high heels let alone Manolo Blahniks here) however Rowberry's really is one of Swansea's premium shoe stores! read more

Priceless Shoes

A great shoe shop for all kinds of footwear for the whole family: leather, synthetic, shoes, boots,…read moreand slippers. It's fairly small as it's in the arcade but it's stuffed full of bargains. (I bought a lovely pair of boots yesterday for only £15) It can get quite crowded in the aisles between the racks of shoes. Well worth a look though.

To get to the kids section in this shop you either use the stairs or take the lift. Once you get upstairs you will need to take a ticket and wait your turn , while you are waiting you can have a wander round and have a look at the shoes. The sales assistants are fantastic with the kids , first of all they will measure their feet at the same time they are chatting to the child. They then ask what style of shoe you are looking for and will then go off and look for some shoes. When they come back they will try the shoes on the child and tell you if they think they are the right ones. The quality of the shoes is great , but the price of them isn`t , on average it costs me £28 for a pair of shoes for my son but they do last around 3 months longer sometimes if he hasn`t had a growth spurt.

Some of the clothes are quite expensive but I usually buy when they have a sale on. I like their jeans and t-shirts which I think are very good quality and their clothes fit very well. I can spend a long time looking round this shop before deciding what to buy. There is a changing room so you can try on the clothes. It can get quite busy in the shop and there can be a queue but you do get served quite quickly.

The store stocks a great deal more than other stores nearby in Llanelli. The clothes are for the larger lady and their range start at size 14 although I have always found their sizes to be extremely generous. There is a changing room here so I would always recommend trying on the clothes just to be sure. The clothes can be a bit expensive at times but you can get a bargain when they have sales on which can be quite often.

Anyway, Debenhams. I do like it, especially during the final days of their Blue Cross sale, when things go buy one get on free. Because of this, I managed to buy 4 bras for the princely sum of £12 - two of them the fairly pricey Miss Ultimo bras. I was impressed. I could spend ages in Debenhams, and more so now that the Benefit counter has expanded to include an eyebrow bar - now if the one in Leeds could just follow along with that, it'd be much appreciated!

All staff members were friendly and knowledgeable. Left fully informed of their exchange policy even though for sentimental reasons these boots will not be returned.
