My first R+B order was about 10 weeks ago and I continue to get my soaps, body butters and many other skin care products from Roux+Bones. Some of my favorites are the Calendula activated charcoal bar, I use it on my face to get an amazing deep clean and the Matcha green tea bath salts are so relaxing. Salty Rose everything! I love this so much I use the bar from head to toe, body butter head to toe and spray in my room, face and body. I don't use the bars on my hair though, I did try it but it left my hair very dry might not be the best for thick ass hair, thin hair maybe? I've used quite a few of the bars and my body loves it. I haven't had any weird reactions at all. My skin is very sensitive, especially my face(suffer from Rosacea) and I randomly broke out for the first time last year. I was really struggling to get rid of the acne on my forehead, I tried so many products and DIY, nothing worked but after using a few R+B soaps, body butters and staying hydrated my forehead now looks SO much better than it did last fall/winter. So glad I found this amazing hard working women and her products! Her passion, love and knowledge blows me away all the time. #Rouxbee for life read more

I tried to keep this short and sweet, but truth be told her products are just so amazing!!! I could write a book!!! Here are some of my top favorites that work for me. Remember everyone's skin is different so what may work for me may not work for you. So far all of her products are amazing and they just keep getting better and better! You won't find such beautiful handcrafted soaps made with so much love and care anywhere else! And the service is amazing as well!!! The Owner is so passionate about her products and just truly wants to help everyone, with natural hand made soaps (and other goodies). Here we go! I don't know where to start! I am so grateful that my best friend recommended this brand to me. She knows how much I struggle with my eczema. I have tried over the counter products, prescription products, high end skin care, basically everything. I lived in Miami for a year and the humidity was such a blessing on my skin. When I decided to move back the harsh dry weather conditions of the desert just dried me back up. My hands were severely affected and my eczema got worst. I wanted to look into more natural products and thank the gods my friend found Roux and Bones. It started with African Gold soap. This is an all in one and done. You can use it on your body, face, hair, and to shave your legs!!! This soap keeps me so moisturized. I literally have not used or bought shaving cream in over a year. The experience you will have shaving your legs with this is amazing! You get a nice smooth shave with out the harsh dryness you get afterwards. I don't personally like it for my hair (I have curly hair). I also use it on my face. As the year went by since I started using her products they just keep getting better and better. I am currently in love with the Dead Sea Mud Bar for my face. Holy Gods does it make my face smooth as a baby's butt. It keeps on my acne in check and gently exfoliates my face. I have combination skin and on top of that its very sensitive w Rosacea. So its very hard for me to find and exfoliate that doesn't irritate my skin. The activated charcoals help pull out the impurities from your skin. It also has all the beautiful benefits of dead sea salt. Right after I wash my face with this miracle I use Roux and Bones Face Creme. This is literally like splashing cool water on your face. It keeps my combination skin well balanced, smooth, and hydrated with out that oily feeling. Her latest and newest edition Little Roux's Baby Cream is to die for. This is literally the bee's knees. So incredibility hydrating. Its just what my skin needed for this extreme harsh winter weather. Leaves your skin feeling so irresistibly soft and touchable. I also love to use this in the mornings on my hands. It literally works right away and helps me with my dry hands. I also love to use her Naked bar soap. A luxurious hand crafted soap made out of goats milk. It makes my skin so soft. I definitely recommend this combo. For my lips my love is Wild at Heart Lip Balm. This lip balm has coconut oil, Beeswax, vitamin E and essential oils. It has been my go to ever since she made it. Keeps my lips hydrated. I also love to put this on before I put on my Lip Stains (we all know how drying lip stains are). I love to wear this to bed. My lips have never felt so good. I also love her Honey Lip Balm but for my hands! Its a quick fix to hydrate my hands!!! There are so many products that I am sure I am forgetting to mention! Check her out on First Fridays at her shop! You wont regret it! read more

Great products that look pretty, smell amazing, and work well! I have somewhat dry, sensitive skin so I love that these products aren't harsh or have any suspect ingredients. My favorites are the gentle moisturizing baby soaps, the face moisturizer, and the salt scrubs. My boyfriend likes the wandering gypsy bar soaps which I approve of because it has a pleasant hint of patchouli which I love! read more

I love these products! I got personalized baby shower favors in December. My guests each took home a huge bath bomb and a snowflake soap. The soaps have an incredible high lather and wonderful lasting scent. The bath bomb are super fun! They turn your water blue but won't stain the tub. Audrey worked within my budget to help me create something unique and memorable for my baby shower. I also received the Belly Butter. I had been using coco butter and baby oil from Walmart and started getting little red bumps on my growing belly. I switched to Roux and Bones belly butter and the bumps cleared up! It starts as a soft whipped butter then turns into an oil as you rub it in. It also has a great lemony scent. I definitely recommend it for moms to be! read more

Roux & Bones is a wonderful little store where you can find handcrafted and well-loved products that are as close to natural as you can get with soaps, lotions, etc. - unless, of course, you don't bathe; in which case, ew, you need this. Treat yourself!! The owner of this lovely shop, who also happens to be the creator of the products you'll find here, is as sweet as sweet can be. She puts a great amount of effort into the things she makes and just as equally measures out a fair heaping helping of love and care into everything you'll find in her shop, both on location and online. And don't forget the custom orders - if you can imagine it, she can surely make it! These organic soaps, lotions, body butters, scrubs, and other necessities not only look great, but feel even better when you use them! They make fantastic gifts, party favors, and personal gifts for yourself; so be sure to take a break every now and then and treat yourself to something relaxing. As a side note, my face tends to be very oily, which, as a result, causes a lot of unwanted acne. So, if you have the same problem, you might want to try the Perfect Facial [found under, Face - Facial Bars, on the website]. It really helps to dry my face out and get rid of all that annoying oil. However, it is pretty strong and will dry your face out right away; so if you find that your face is getting a little irritated, don't worry just dab a little lotion on the irritated areas. I can't guarantee that it will work for you, because everyone's skin is different, but it has certainly helped me get my acne under control!! read more

Each time I purchase items from this product line I find a new love and must haves for my shower arsenal!! Audrey has put so much heart into each of her products and you will feel it on your skin. The soap bars lather up wonderfully, very smooth and full of aroma. Some of my favorites are Salty Rose and any black bar that contains activated charcoal. The Grapefruit Bergamot after cleanse is a special treat for my hair the texture of the product will not be the same as regular conditioner but I promise you will not be disappointed. My hair feels thicker, light in movement and the smell it leaves on my pillow it to die for! When it comes to lip balms I love the original beeswax lip balm and I have never used another lip balm product since. Roux & Bones also provides me with my winter disinfectants of antibacterial hand soaps and essential oils. The entire product line so yummy you will want to eat it!! read more
