Tree of Life Wellness is owner-operated by Katie Cataldi. Cataldi is certified in Reiki procedures…read morethat also include vibrations treatments (bowls, chimes, drums, etc) along with being a mindfulness coach to special clients. My own personal make-up is to find methods of cleansing and/or detox which have almost zero massage involvement. Cataldi has provided me with two sessions and I come away feeling rejuvenated over 24 - 72 hours after procedures. I manage to go through seeing colors, images and feeling vibrations in an eyes-closed setting on a comfortable massage table. Reiki treatment isn't for everyone but it works for me. Cataldi's spa and treatment is in-home. Small but extremely comfortable and does not have or receive any interference with family members. If you like Reiki - Katie Cataldi has skills.

Though Athens and OU is a place we once gallivanted around in our younger years (and still intended to do some of), we wanted an activity that brought the small group of us even closer together. We had a group of six ladies! Living just a mere hour and a half away, I had been looking into tarot readers and mediums but was feeling overwhelmed. I decided to call Chosen Pathways on a whim for some advice! Kelly (the owner) kindly helped me arrange the PERFECT activity. She helped me with a tarot reader, a spirit painter and even provided snacks and a place for us ladies to hang out and exchange our experiences in private! It was intimate yet special beyond words. When I tell you there are things that were told that no one could have known, I mean that. It was an emotional yet such an elevating experience that none of us will ever forget and are still talking about to this day! If you are an OU Alum (which half of our group is!) OR you're visiting hocking hills with a group of close girlfriends or friends, OR have friends that just really love tarot and need a fun activity - this is it. It was cathartic, it was meaningful, it was relaxing yet so impactful. Kelly I cannot thank you enough for putting together such a meaningful few hours for us girls! And your shop was just the great addition too! We will be back!
