Lanes kept incorrect score. Machines chewed up our personal balls. We pulled them pretty quick thank god. And when balls would get stuck it took way to long to get cleared when your getting it by the hour. We should have received more time bowling. We made it a game to get the high score with inconsistent, incorrect scoring. If we threw a strike it would mark a 9 reset a full set of pins and when we struck that it gave a 0. Not going back.

Nicely priced (we paid $14 for four games and two pair of shoes). Afterwards we had lunch at the diner connected to the lanes. Menu is comprehensive with lots of appetizers, soups, salads, burgers/sandwiches, plate lunches and even dinners. There is a bar for cocktails. Daily specials (today was chicken parm sandwich and turkey rice soup). Menu includes hot turkey or beef with mashed potatoes and gravy (very good!), fish and chips, burgers, cold subs and hot chicken sandwiches, pizza, wings, lots of apps (fries, o-rings, chicken tenders), a few salads and homemade soup. Kids meals, too. Menu is on a single piece of paper but includes at least 50 items! Bowling lanes staff is super friendly, lady in diner is a bit gruff. Very few places to grab lunch in Canajoharie so consider this for food and stay for bowling!

First, I'll start by saying: I'm not hot about bowling...but that's not the problem…read more Even though it's not my forte, I occasionally find myself at a birthday party in a bowling alley. There's usually a bar. I imbibe. Drink 1: Whiskey and soda water - the beer selection is VERY limited. Tastes fine. Drink 2: Whiskey and soda water - Hey, this doesn't taste like soda water. It tastes like metallic tap water. Returned to the bartender (who was a very nice gal) Drink 3: Whiskey and soda water - Eww...tastes like gross water again, but I feel bad bringing the drink back to bartender because she's nice. I make my friend drink it. He gags but drinks it anyway. Drink 4: Whiskey straight up - There's a fruit fly in my drink. This is starting to get either humorous or really annoying. I take the fly out and drink the whiskey, because damnit, I need it! Drink 5: Smirnoff Ice - It's in a bottle. It has to be the least risky item to purchase. Second Bartender opens...as I'm about to put my lips to the bottle, he stops me and grabs the bottle...the whole neck and mouth of it is covered in a rusty dirt! The bartenders were very nice, but the product was bad. I'll probably go back because I'll have to go to another birthday party, but I won't necessarily like it.

He offered a full refund for the missed game, and even comforted us that it was "no problem! It's perfectly fine!" along with a warm smile. I mean, I would have been satisfied not getting a refund (it was only about 8$ per person for three games total so the refund was like a dollar each.) The bar was understocked, but that's understandable since most of the people here were underage. They do have 7.50$ pitchers of beer which is awesome. Left to my wiles I would have had 2-3! Get drunk and cause great concern for safety at this fun little spot.
