Not a good experience at all. First of all, I asked for a medium fade. I nearly got a mohawk. Couldn't help but to notice the half-empty bottle of vodka on the counter either. Music is way too loud. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!! He is so rough with children. He cut my 19 month old son on the top of BOTH his ears! My husband has been going to Romeo for YEARS. My husband kept asking if he can take my son with him, since we couldn't find a barber we liked in our area. SO, I finally agreed to let him take my son to Romeo. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I will NEVER allow Romeo to cut my son's hair. My Dad once came to Romeo for a haircut and witness Romeo cutting a little boys and being so rough with him. PLUS, there is some reviews on here saying how rough he is and how he has cut some people with his clippers. Smh read more

Route 66 Barber is truly a Route 66 secret! Great Staff, Great Location, Great service, and true community love! Came in to see if there is was anything I could do at the shop as I was a little down on money but my hair looked...well let's just say a mess. The barber warmly welcomed me into his chair and asked how I wanted it cut. I told him I trusted him, and I was not disappointed. The guy that cut my hair was on bath salts or was drunk, he asked me 4 times what kind of haircut I wanted, I asked for a low fade, ended up with a high fade, to top it off, it wasn't even a fade. He acted like the owner or something. I was in his hair for like 5 min, rushed so bad. Sucked. read more

I have been going to Romeo for many, many years. I drive to Fontana from Redlands every two weeks to get my cut. I do not trust anyone else with my hair. His work is spectacular and always leaves me looking fresh. I can't wait to bring my unborn son to him for his 1st haircut. read more

Just moved out to fontana and looking for a barber. Wouldn't say this was the worse hair cut but it was the most painful. Seemed like he didnt care for how it looked just got it done in what seemed liked 5mins. For $12 was not worth it, at half the price i could have gotten a better one where i use to live. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. read more

This barber shop got a 2 star from me for multiple reasons. One big one was cleanliness. The inside had hair all over the floor and chairs, It looked poorly maintained. The barber, Romero got my hair cut request wrong. He gave me the most painful haircut I have ever gotten, not to mention the huge red scars on the sides of my face, not to mention he didn't ask if I wanted my size razored. Which I never get. He tossed my head side to side so rough. I asked if he took CC and he said yes. He charged me a specific charge and he asked/told me if I wanted to leave tip.(I was going to anyways) and he ended up charging me extra for idk what. I will not return here. No thanks. read more

I have visited this place a few times and kept returning because i liked the owner seemed cool and i liked how he cut my hair but today not so much.i kept telling him what i wanted but we seemed to have had miscommunication or something he just really did not seem too into it and i wasn'tt happy at all. I did not want to leave a tip but assumed he already took out because the last time i was there he charged me $12 but today he charged me $15 ..but i can't really base it on anything because the price isn't listed anywhere obvious in the shop..also when i was leaving another worker told me if i don't like it go somewhere else not professional at all..in frustration i called back later leaving my feedback maybe i came off wrong i don't know? But the conversation ended as he threatened "don't let me catch you in the streets" ..not cool it's fine i will not be returning which kind of sucks because i did like the way he was doing my hair before read more

So many things to say... First off, REAL customers not only pay for the haircut, they pay for the experience. There were people loitering and drinking (after I was already getting a haircut) and I for one wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my 2 young boys. People driving by (like I did) wouldn't even come in if they saw it. I felt uncomfortable even having my wife there. I don't get this new style of barbering. I got a DRY shave... No shaving cream/ gel. I asked for a trim on the top and the guy didn't even cut it (I'm glad after the fact). He left a bunch of long hair around my ears. I have a beard and he didn't bother to blend my beard so that it didn't look choppy. FYI... If you shave someone... YES they want after shave. The "Barber" didn't even comb my hair when done. NO FINISHING SKILLS AT ALL. Hey owner... You can take this advice or not, but you lost out on a potential 6 haircuts per month from me and my 2 boys...
