My 5 year old son wanted long hair. I didn't think it was a big deal so I let him grow it out as…read morelong as I could stand but right now it's summer, hot and I hated having the hair keep falling into his eyes. I found Klassic Cuts through Yelp and decided to give them a shot because of the good reviews. We walked in and met with the owner who was working with another customer. Him and the other barber (I'm sorry I can't remember their names!) were friendly and made my son feel comfortable. The owner showed my son photos of different hairstyles so he could pick which one he wanted. My son picked a picture of a dude with dreadlocks and after I told him that WOULDN'T happen he settled on a style that was short in the back and sides with some length up top and mom (me) approved of course ;) The barber started cutting my son's hair. They changed the TV to Spongebob so my other kids could watch it while we waited. Never once did we feel rushed, even as a few other people walked in. It was obvious they wanted to make sure the job was done right, which I appreciated. My son LOVES his hair and he keeps looking in the mirror like Johnny Bravo admiring it, haha. Thank you Klassic Cuts for showing my son that getting his haircut is a GOOD thing! We will be coming back. Included a before and after pic, the after was taken after a ride in the car with the windows down so it got a little messy but it still looks good! :)

AWESOME $15 cut by MEAGAN!!! Originally, I was going to try…read morethis place because it is the ONLY one that is open nearby on Monday. Except... my ride never showed up! I had to pick up some prescriptions & an order just up the street at Walgreens, so I booked a ride to Walgreens & walked over to Thumbs UP WITHOUT an appointment, figuring that they just opened @ 10 so I wouldn't need one... NOT! After 15-20 minutes, Meagan popped her head around the corner and called my name. Now, I have PIA hair (figure it out...), wavy, receding AND the wave pattern is different everywhere on my head. I usually have to spend $35-45 (around here, $55+ near Boston) to get a clean cut that leaves my hair full on top, very clean around the ears and hard taper from the ears up. Not this tome, Meagan hit it right on with 2 minor corrections! The charge was only $15 so I gave her a $15 tip. YOU MUST BOOK WITH MEAGAN, TELL HER DAVID SENT YOU!! PS: they do NOT take credit cards, so bring ca$h!
