On Friday afternoon around 8 pm, we had bought a pizza and breadsticks then sat in a booth near the open glass to over look into the dough area . I had went into the restroom when I seen an employee enter , I blew my nose and turned to walk out when I heard the toilet flush and the employee walk straight out the restroom without washing her hands . I looked at the mirror and saw "employees must wash hands before returning to work" sign as I washed my hands . As I walked out I seen it was a 5'5-57 chunkier white female with black glasses and black hair in a bun with the round table cap on returning to the kitchen, grabbing pizza pans and talking to coworkers . If I could rate this establishment a 0, I would! Horrible customer service. I ordered a pizza for delivery and was told it would arrive to my house in 45 mins. 15 mins after the anticipated time arrival and still no pizza I called and was told the driver was out and the pizza should be there any time. Another 15 mins went by and still no pizza and again was told my pizza would arrive any minute. I called again for the THIRD time and apparently they never got an order under my name despite giving them my name every time. We have decided tonight after giving them another try that we are not wasting our time and money here. Our food did not arrive at our table for over an hour. When it did it had a minimal amount of toppings and the crust was dry and flakey. The last two visits were even worse. After waiting in the lobby for an hour we checked in our order and they were unable to find our ticket!! They did not even start our order! The time before that another long wait for a different tables pizza to be delivered to us and when the server dropped the pizza off at the table the pizza fell off the tray and onto the table. We told him that did not look like the pizza we ordered he grabbed it off the table with his hands and attempted t take it to the correct table! Thankfully they saw and denied the pizza. My small cheese pizza was delivered promptly but was horribly overdone. Burnt about 2 inches from the edges. I immediately called and asked for a replacement. They couldn't do it because they had no driver. The Manager Belinda said she would give me a refund but that it would take a few days. I said fine. So a week latter no refund. Came here for lunch. Around 2pm. Was not busy at all. I ordered one personal size pizza cold tomato and olives. One small drink. $10... pricey. Got my pizza. It was burnt. The whole crust. Tasted horrible. I was going to just eat it, but for $10 no way! I didn't get a picture of the burnt pizza. I forgot. But I did notice on the new recooked pizza they forgot the cold tomatoes. I was just happy to eat at this point! Few minutes later the shift manager came out to ask me if it tasted good and if they put the cold tomatoes on. I said tasted good; but no tomatoes! Wait..... Good pizza, plenty of room, reluctant alcohol service. I called day-of and was able to reserve the banquet room at no charge, which was pretty awesome. Upon arrival, the manager even came over and offered to kick out a couple of kids who weren't in our group. It wasn't a big deal, we were cool with they staying. But, it is odd that the only available outlet for a laptop, etc. is in the banquet room. The place is mostly staffed by Mormon kids, hence their reluctance to be particularly helpful with the alcohol, as mentioned in a previous review. They'll even make you feel a little guilty about it, asking "where would you like your alcohol delivered" in reference to your pitcher of beer. Eh, to each his own. If they were really reluctant to serve alcohol, they should stop having $5 pitchers ;) The price of the pitchers kept us around much longer than we would have planned and the restaurant actually had to boot us out to close, ha ha. I placed a online order 1.5 hours before pick up and upon arrival I was told there would be an additional 10 minute wait so I sat patiently and waited. It took them an additional half hour to get me my order and the lady working didn't even so much as acknowledge the wait or apologize much less. If you want to pay $180 for a pair of crappy pizzas that are randomly topped with whatever the hell they feel like putting on them - this place IS your jam. And they have gotten our order right MAYBE once. Their wings must be from albino dwarf chickens from the land of TEENY - because they are SO SMALL - I have NEVER seen chickens that small in my LIFE. They are BEGRUDGING about offering to remake/refund for pizzas that THEY messed up. Its awful. If there were ANY other pizza alternatives in this town, this place would go out of business within a week of their opening. Its abhorrent that they take advantage of the community's lack of choice and their corner on the market to provide sub-par pizza (Yes - it is always burned or under cooked or cold) with HOURS long wait times (1.5 hours this time) to receive wrong orders with skimpy toppings and sides at astronomical prices. I can take my family to red lobster and eat lobster and shrimp for the price we spend to get pizza here - LITERALLY. It costs around $80 for a family of 4 to eat here if you aren't ordering just from the specials menu. Red lobster - I can get us each a salad, snow crab, lobster tail and shrimp scampi for $17 each. With a baked potato. And customer service. Absolutely horrendous. I order delivery once a week and the past 7 weeks there has been something wrong. Delivered wrong food, missed crucial items, burnt to a crisp, hair in pizza, wait time was 1 hour 3 hours later still no pizza. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. Ordered online at 3:30 to be delivered at 6pm. Called at 620 person who answered the phone couldn't find my pizza so I asked her to check the computer because my bank shows a charge. I was put on hold and then was told she called her manager whovv no was out doing deliveries and my Pizza should be delivered soon. Twenty minutes later received a call saying my pizza would be delivered soon to which I said would it be easier if we picked it up, and she said it's up to you and I said ok we will come get it. Last night I ordered over 70 dollars worth of Pizza, Wings and bread sticks. With the tip, it was over 80 dollars for delivery. Sadly, like usual... I opened the 4 boxes and one of the pizzas was completely wrong, and I ordered Blue Cheese and red sauce, along with the ranch that comes with the sticks.. All that I received was 4 ranch... nothing else in the way of sauces... and then I ordered a half Italian Garlic Supreme, and half Pepperoni Pineapple, I received a half pepperoni and not a fully completed garlic supreme. Literally every time I order from this round table in some way its wrong. Unless your in the store, because then you can return it ASAP! But I obviously went by delivery for a reason. I may order from here again, but I am so tired of getting the wrong things constantly, and I did look at the receipt so the gal that took my order got everything right, just whoever was making it couldn't seal the deal. This round table is the worst in Gridley. I call for delivery one night they say no delivery past 8:30. So next night I call at 8:10 they say no delivery past 8:00. They make it up as they go. That's a great way to run a business. Then the kid on the phone laughed at me. You close at 9:30 which is already crazy the stop delivering at 8 or 8:30. Seriously do not know what is going on with their service. Always grab pizza here once a week but lately it's always been screwed up. Ordered a chicken garlic and only half a pizza had chicken on it. The combination was missing so much stuff. Specifically told them red sauce on the veggie and had to wait extra for it because they messed up. The people working here are a bunch of kids that don't care at all to do their jobs properly. We got a pitcher of beer, pizza, and garlic twists. She gave us the chilled beer glasses and we sat down. She poured the pitcher of beer, then left it behind the counter for about 10 mins til we asked for it. By that time our glasses were room temp, but oh well. Garlic twists came out right away, so that was good... Because the pizza took an hour! After 20 mins or so we asked about it, and they said they hadn't gotten to it yet and it would be ready in 10. They bring the pizza, and of course its the wrong order. So I ask how long it will be until another is ready, and they say 10 mins. So we wait an additional 25 minutes, and we have to go. I ask for it to go whenever it's ready. So they end up just putting it in a box for us, since we didn't have time to wait any longer. I'm sure they forgot about the first order, and when they brought it, it was wrong. Anyway, they were totally non-apologetic and not exactly rude, but not nice at all about it. Round Table Pizza is a pizza people either love or hate. Very few middle of the road folks. I love Round Table personally, it's just what pizza is supposed to taste like to me. The pizza sauce is spicy and very flavorful, most other pizza sauces are disappointing in comparison. Love the salad bar, pizzas and garlic twists. While it is the pizza that formed my taste in pizza, it is expensive pizza. A large combination is now over $35. Still, we usually cram one RT pizza into our budget every month because it is just that delicious! read more

Order the Roasted vegetable with chicken Flatbread. What we got was the flatbread with chicken. We sent it back telling them that we order one with vegetables. What we got was one that the added vegetables added. They didn't make a new one. It was cold and I'm not sure what it was. We sent it back and ask that they make a new one. They did, but im not sure if we really got what we order. They did give us an order of bread sticks. The staff all looked new and didn't know what they where doing. Then about two weeks later another family member when in an order an pepperoni pizza and they put everything in the middle of the pizza instead of all over the pizza. Took my Girls out to dinner tonight and my Daughter choose Round Table, one of her favorite places to eat. Normally when we go to this location we get standard service but tonight we got Fantastic customer service from Anthony. When I say Fantastic I mean Great service. I personally was in the restaurant business ,managing for over 12 years and have been a Manager in the construction business for the last 10. Certified Trainer & Manager for a restaurant chain & a very successful business in Yuba City for world wide company. I don't think I need to say much more than you Guys have a very valuable asset on your hand with Anthony at your front counter. He goes above & beyond trying to make the customer a happy one. He should be promoted to Manager of one of your chains if he doesn't get snatched up by someone else before he does. He defiantly needs to be recognized as a star employee. If I wasn't already fully staffed I would have offered him a job making significantly more than what he's making now. It will be just a matter of time before he gets recognized before some will do what I was going too tonight. All I can say is Job well done Anthony. Because of this Man my Family & I will try to frequent your establishment more often to receive this said service. Hats off to Anthony, he's a keeper, oh you guys make a pretty great pizza as well.
