One thing I feel a bit weird about is that there's so many spicy things on the menu. The onions in the tacos were very strong so it felt spicy. The mac and cheese was okay as well. Overall it's alright for the price. I ended up paying about $11 after tax and tip.

However, if you learn some basic words and phrases, then that will go a long way towards forming a mutual understanding that you went out of your way to visit their establishment to get some of their food in your belly. Note, the younger the wait staff, the higher the likelihood that they will speak some English. We started off with the shrimp cocktail in a sauce that wasn't the basic cocktail sauce you get in the states, but something with a little flair and small dollops of a garlic ranch cream. Different, yet tasty! SO then had the duck confit and mushroom risotto...I took a few pleasing bites of the duck, which was a 1/4 size, tasty thigh-leg, and the risotto, which had a few varieties of mushrooms and was nicely seasoned. I had the flank steak cooked medium, which was accompanied by a nice vegetable medley of potatoes, peppers, carrots and asparagus along with some caramelized shallots with bacon...a tasty and hearty dish! Overall, the service was slow, but the food was good. If I could have schmoozed the staff in French, then I'm sure the service would have been faster.

The cooks and kitchen staff were amazing. It was very busy as I said and even with everything going on the cooks got the food out quickly, accurately and wonderfully presented. The food was also wonderful! Both my son and I noted how perfectly the poached eggs were done, even considering how busy they were. It was one of the best benedicts I have ever had, without exaggeration. The mixed fruit on the plate was the absolute pièce de résistance! Our coffee was always full and the servers really took an interest in ensuring our visit was a great one. BTW...coffee is part of the breakfast price and is NOT extra. Amazing! Free wifi, great decaf coffee, and the 60's decor with the old fashion jukebox just finished it perfectly. Thank you for making our visit wonderful. The portions are generous sized and they make sure to give time in between each course so it's definitely a good 2.5-3 hr affair. The service strikes the right balance of attentive and also providing privacy and peace to enjoy the dinner. The flavors are excellent and the quality of the food is high. The price is also fairly reasonable for the quantity of food and quality. A great restaurant in a charming city. Highly recommend a visit if in the area!
