This review is regarding the office staff and their claim for 24/7 coverage. Had 2 brand new toilets installed, the technician professional and completed the job in a timely manner. He said the job was guaranteed a month. In the middle of the night I found that the toilet was leaking. I called at 7, 8 and then got hold of an admin at 8:15. She was rude, she had just gotten to work so needed a min. and informed me no one could come out until 3pm. I just paid $900 for a service, Not sure about anyone else-but I cannot stay home from work for 2 days to have a toilet changed out. I asked to speak with the foreman or office manager-tentatively they said someone could be out between 8:30 and 9. We'll See. While I am sure they want to get everything right the first time-seems like they should Have time for rework or emergencies. We've used them for years-I was surprised by the lack of polite customer service. read more

Worth noting to be aware of credit card fees, and nondisclosed charges from the Las Cruces Roto-Rooter office. Our services were completed in August- paid in full - receipt, zero balance. Months later, in October received a paper bill for $16.00 indicating "online scheduling services." Called the Las Cruces ROTO office for an explanation and told... "I don't know why they charge for that, we are a 'national company' and we get charged." Asked, if the fee was disclosed and very casually told..."No, the fee was not disclosed." Asked for the fee to be removed and told..."I can't, we are a national company." Nope, not using this 'National Company' ever again. read more

This team is always quick to respond, courteous, and friendly. Their work has always been very thorough, with appropriate recommendations for preventing the problem in the future, or upgrading a part for improved reliability. This company has done everything from installing toilets and faucets to replacing the 50 year old sewer pipe between the house and the street. I would not hesitate to hire them again. read more

I was given estimate for a shower install the parts and labor were less then estimate given but they decided to charge me the same price because I was given an estimate regardless if it was less. I spoke to foreman and he was being aggressive saying that he could charge me another $300 for the door if I continued to question. I just didn't understand the invoice he gave me and charged $1,100 for labor instead of $600 as quoted. He said could've just hid it in miscellaneous charges instead of the labor. I gave up did not want my credit to be damaged by them so I paid my bill unwillingly. My family used them for years but not after this experience. I am unhappy about the situation and will never use Roto-rooter again because of how I was treated. Hope this helps anyone else from being ripped off by these plumbers. read more

I have used roto since I moved here 8 yrs ago, they were always ok reasonably priced. had them the other day fix the faucets in one bath and replace dripping in shower, it took 2 times to solve problem. he was there about an hour for both daysI, the price was almost $350. When I called office to see if I had missed something office girl was rude and didn't care. Please check reviews first. I hope this doesn't happen to you. read more

Anthony showed up on time yesterday to change out my kitchen faucet. Because of my current sink and the faucet I chose, I needed to buy a new sink which I really needed anyway. So yesterday he cut out the old faucet which wasn't easy and replaced my old valves and water lines. Today he had to remove the old sink, cut the opening a little bigger to fit the new, drop in sink and finish it off. He worked fast and I am extremely happy with the new sink/faucet combo. I highly recommend. Parts and labor came to $285.00 which I was glad to pay to not have to do this myself which was not going to happen! Worth every penny. read more

We were without water for 3 days due to a leak under the house going to our kitchen sink. Called a few places and they didn't have openings until later in the month. Roto-Rooter, Anthony, came out that day! He took a look as told me that he had to bring a helper to get into the tight crawlspace (I don't blame him, it was tight for my son and I). Scheduled me for the next morning. They came and got to work. Tyler was awesome! He got dirty from crawling under the house but got the work done in no time at all. Very happy they were able to come out so quickly after my home warranty failed to get their contractors out over the holiday weekend. read more

If I could give you half a star I would. We rent from a rental company and they use them to replace things. Unfortunately Roto Rooter is terrible. They tell you they'll show up between a window and then they don't come during the window they come after the window. Sadly then when I tell them that they need to work with me on a certain time schedule she goes oh well I don't know we'll see what we can do. Do you have to leave by the time you said ?? Are you kidding me that's the time I told you that when you need to be here and be done by. And then they come out they get frustrated because I ask him to use the door closest to the project area to avoid freaking out and already terrified pet and they tell me that they have to come back because even though they've already been here once before they don't know what stuff they need. So they leave with the intention of coming back and then they come back a few minutes later and tell me by the way I need the entire area around it clean and move and nothing in it nothing under the sink nothing around the sink nothing on the sink. You could have said this when the appointment was made or when they called to say they were on the way. All this headache and frustration to replace just the faucet part. Go elsewhere and save yourself the headache. read more

Alex helped my parents with a faucet. Polite, considerate, tidy, and efficient. After he left, we discovered that the sink drain was leaking. He came back and cleared that up too! Can not say enough about the service he provided. I would recommend him without hesitation!!! read more

I have a house in awful condition. A bathroom sink, a kitchen sink, and a laundry room were all badly plugged. Anthony Benavidez arrived a few minutes before the scheduled 8:30 arrival. The back bathroom lavatory drain was a REAL challenge. Anthony kept after it and 4 tries he got it open. read more
