I arrived here hungry and angry, yet was welcomed with a big smile that made me forget how furious I was for one second. When I ordered and said no tomatoes an no onions he was joking by saying "extra tomatoes!"- freaked me out for a sec, you got me! So I ordered myself a burger and sat down, we were the only ones there, seems like this place is not too popular in the early evening hours, probably later when people are after the bar experience :) After a few minutes the burger was served in a warm, crispy bun - well done! Cheddar cheese and Bacon, no tomatoes and no onions- just the way I ordered! There are a lot of sauces in the burger itself, mayo, ketchup and I think a bit of sweet chili. In my opinion it tasted great but if you're not a big salsa fan make sure to order without it. The flavor of the party itself is not so bald, but still ok. All in all, all the ingredients, atmosphere and service were well combined into a very pleasant experience A decent burger can make you forget all your trouble!

The staff is friendly enough. It's location, close but not on Boxi, is perfect. You can tell that they use fresh, quality ingredients when eating their burgers. They have some of the best sweet potato fries in Berlin. The only things that I would change are the burger buns and having to pay extra for ketchup and mayo packets.

Since we wanted to help his parents, he added other vietnamnese dishes made by his parents. What was good: DEFINITELY the burgers! That's why this place was created in the first place. The signature umami burger for 7.90€ is absolute bomb. Nice soft sweet butter brioche bun with two thin sliced black angus beef patty's on a slight spicy wasabi kind of mayonnaise. It was good! You can't go wrong with burger here! The umami meatless for 7.50 tasted slightly different because the beef makes a lot of difference. The patty is more bean flavored. Overall the burgers are great but heavy and greasy! What we'd skip next time: The pho was good but not outstanding. 9.90€ is slightly higher priced than other spots in Berlin. Same for the bun cha lot 9.90€. Dau Sot Ca for 5€ could be entire dish by itself that lacked in flavor where you could taste the tomato ketchup in the sauce. For 5€ it's a good deal. The chicken nuggets karaage for 5.50€ were crispy, crunchy and soft, served in a sweet sour sauce which was good! Overall: we love this place because of the owners attitude to help his parents and fulfill his dreams. This place is Definitely not a tourist trap although it's customers are mostly tourists. Momo tavern used to be ranked on #1 on TripAdvisor and when it comes to there burgers - it's definitely worth a visit. When it comes to the rest it's not super special and might be slightly overpriced due to the location right at the Alexander Platz Fernsehturm. Would we come again? If we really crave burger - yes for the umami burger!

The fries here are great, the buns are crispy and pretty much everything about the burger is satisfying--but the patties themselves are kind of meh. They are crispy and juicy on the outside but kind of have a texture on the inside that feels un-fresh and filler-y. However, service here is great; some of the only outwardly friendly service I've seen in Berlin, and the burgers come out really fast.

The patties are clearly pre-formed and the weakest part of their offering, but they grill them up nice with a proper amount of char, and then ladle on the delicious toppings. Colleen C. has the right of it on ordering; you go in and order from the grill first. Don't worry about drinks or anything. They don't care. Just let them know what they need to cook up. Then grab your drinks, find a seat and wait for your order to be yelled out. Return your plates at the end (there are tiny bins scattered around) and pay by letting them know what you had, drinks and all. Burgers are cheap (3-6 EUR) and each menu option has a "baby" variant that's a bit smaller and about a Euro cheaper. Sides (fries, wedges) are 1-2 EUR and giant bottles of ketchup and mayo come gratis. The "chili-cheeseburger", which like most places in Berlin, isn't American chili but rather a *spicy* burger with jalapeños, cheese spread and a spicy red sauce. It's a tasty, gooey mess. The wedges are also pretty satisfying. If you opt for the sour cream, know that it's more like an herb cheese dip than sour cream. Still good, but different than what I was expecting. A full meal (burger, side, drink) should set you back no more than 9 EUR.

The burgers here are completely legit…read moreand very impressive; apart from one other burger place in Berlin (Kumpel & Keule) they have no other serious competition. Tip: This is totally my go-to place for burgers when I'm in Berlin! All of them are delicious and fresher than fresh :-)

It's unclear to me how this places doesn't have more raving reviews…read more I don't eat out often, but when I do, I'm typically traveling. I count on yelp reviews to help me find the best hidden gems to get as close to the local level as I can (unless of course I have the chance to actually find and ask a local) and was nervous to try BB due to a few mixed reviews. But woah, glad those didn't stop me. My friend and I spent the day walking the city and had passed another BB location on our way back to our hostel. After kicking back, we decided to walk the solid mile from our place for a burger and fries. AND WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. We even took one back to her boyfriend and he was well pleased, also. And seriously, I'm hard to please with my restaurant standards but this was a hit. Pros: - Small burger joint with an only slightly larger menu (a nice mix of English & German so you only kinda know what you're getting) - Accepts credit cards - Open kitchen, you get to see how your food is handled and prepared - Quick service despite the line - THE BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES I HAVE EVER EATEN (And I've eaten a lot! Also, this was not just the 10+ mile walk talking, these were as fresh as they get, piping hot, and just perfectly sweet mixed with salty) Cons: - Tiny space so could get crowded when it's busy, but I think it adds to the charm - Yeah, that's literally all I've got. If you don't enjoy eating a bomb burger dripping of sweet juices crowded around a group of strangers, as for delivery or get it for takeaway. Problem solved.
