    Chicken roti

First time coming to this place after looking for something local. Came in 3 mins past 2p and was denied the lunch special which was kind of disappointing, as the cashier was cashing and chatting with the other people in line. Would have been good customer service had they honoured it. Ordered the chicken and goat roti and came to $22.30 which was a bit pricy, since there was no drinks or other accompaniments. Portions are decent and flavours are pretty good. The roti was just a bit dry, would have liked it with more gravy.

I tried this place for the first time today after I read some very good reviews. I wasn't disappointed! I ordered the chicken Roti and the chicken stew meal with rice and peas. The service was very friendly. And the food tasted Amazing!! We enjoyed both meals very much! Excellent quality and taste! The Roti was a tad spicy for me but nonetheless delicious! Portions were very satisfying. I recommend this place. And I will be back to try new items as well.

If your thinking about Caribbean or just GREAT FOOD for lunch, dinner or for the whole family; this is the place you NEED to come to. I started coming here in 2016 on a regular bases while working for Goodlife and I have to say, this is the BEST restaurant for Roti, curry goat , or any other Caribbean food item you desire. But don't take my word for it, stop reading and CALL THEM NOW! View the menu on the following pictures and order, you won't me disappointed!

I've gone to this place quite a bit. If you're looking for a great Caribbean lunch this is the place to go to. Due to the location of the business, there aren't too many chairs for you to sit in and eat but you have the option. The price of the Roti is pretty cheap with the lunch special. The menu is actually pretty generous, with a good amount of options for your lunch or dinner. The workers are all awesome, friendly and hardworking. This family run restaurant is super awesome, and in my opinion better than I Love Roti, but try it for yourself!

This is a small walk-in family shop. Theres some basic seating for those who want to eat right away. The workers seem friendly. I bought some aloo pies. $2.00 each They're pretty big. Two people could share one. They said it comes with tamarind chutney. Pepper sauce is optional. They wrapped each one individually and wrote P on the one that had pepper on it, which was helpful. They tasted good. I would go again, maybe earlier on in the day when they're fresh. They take debit fyi. I would recommend this place.

Chicken Roti is terrible. Very poor cuts of chicken. Cartridge and bone. Definitely not choice chicken breast meat.

Been here once and found it to be okay. The chicken roti was so dry but the curry flavour was delicious. Too bad.

Fantastic flavours with everything on the menu. Cheap and delicious lunch Roti, but their chickpea doubles are a real treat.

This time, I came with a group of friends, allowing us to order several dishes. Here's what we had: · Dungeness Crabs in Spicy Garlic · Lobster with Ginger and Green Onion · Alex Chicken with Veg Fried Rice · Special Chicken Fried Rice · Cantonese Chow Mein · Sweet and Sour Basa · Goat Curry with Roti · Beef Short Ribs · Pepper Shrimp · BBQ Duck · Mixed Vegetables · Hot and Sour Soup · Seafood Soup As often as I come here, this was my first time having some of these dishes. Everything was absolutely delicious, with the seafood dishes being the top favourites of our group. Their platters of two lobsters or two crabs for only $34.95 are a great deal, especially the crabs. Don't miss their Beef Short Ribs, Goat Curry, Goat Curry, and everything else on the list above. It was all excellent! You have to try it for yourself. Their menu is also Halal! To quench your thirst, they offer a range of soft drinks, including Caribbean favourites, as well as adult beverages - wine, spirits, beer, etc. Their buckets of (5) beer are a popular choice among diners, with several brands available. Check them out at 985 Brock Road in Pickering!

One of my friends had been here before and recommended that we give Guyanese Chinese cuisine a try. I was game! I had no problem finding the eatery. It's in a small plaza with Grillies next door. I actually parked in front of Grillies and walked over to Caribbean Heat. The eatery was busy for a Sunday afternoon. It was a good sign. My friends and I ordered a ton of food, to the point where we had to get boxes to take home the damage that we had done... haha! We ordered these items: - Beef short ribs - Special chicken fried rice - Alex chicken with veggie fried rice - Goat curry with roti - Crabs in spicy garlic sauce - Cantonese chow mein - BBQ duck (half) - Pepper shrimp - Mixed vegetables - Hot and sour soup - Seafood soup - Sweet and sour basa - Lobster with ginger and green onion This eatery has a number of specials. We took advantage of most, except for the wings. The specials: - Pepper Shrimp - $8.99 for 15 pieces - Half-priced chicken Wings - Bucket of five beers for $29.99 - Two lobster or crabs for $34.95 - Alex chicken with veggie fried rice (lunch special) - $12.95 before tax Alex chicken is the chef's special. I don't know who Alex is. However, the dish consists of boneless chicken that's stir-fried with lots of onions and spices. It does have a bit of heat to make it a wonderful dish. The veggie fried rice that accompanied the chicken was delicious, too. I loved everything that we ate and will note some highlights: - The sweet and sour basa was excellent. The fish was flaky and boneless, and the flavours were perfect. - The lobster with ginger and green onion was fantastic. One friend was allergic to shellfish, but risked it because this dish was so good. I'm guessing that he has a mild allergy because he's fine. - The goat curry was excellent. Not gamey. Tender. It came with roti on the side that I enjoyed sopping up the sauce with it. - The BBQ duck was yummy. I haven't had duck in a long time. It was tender and I loved the skin. - The pepper shrimp were gigantic! I loved how tasty this dish was. It had lots of green bell peppers and onions that I enjoyed with the shell-on shrimp. I used the washroom a couple of times during our three-hour stay. It was clean. No complaints! We had a terrific time chatting, enjoying one another's company, and feasting on a bunch of scrumptious dishes. The menu had fried banga Mary as an appetizer. I'd like to try this dish that shares my first name. I'll be back for more when I'm in the area. (172)
