This is one of my favorite local stops for flowers. I've been to a bunch of other ones all around town, plenty of different times but I stopped looking around about a year ago. Chris has picked out an incredible and knowledgeable team. I know absolutely nothing about flowers, or what flowers would look great with what. But every time I've been in, they either have a stunning bouquet in their easy grab pots, all with a variety of flowers and prices, or the team can put together a personalized and uniquely yours bouquet for whatever you need. My wife has always lit up to whatever I bring home, but there's really something bigger about her excitement when she sees something from these guys. She usually ends up keeping them and storing them long term some how. They also have walk in specials which are super great. The bouquet of roses far beats the prices and quality of anywhere else I've ever bought. Not to mention you can customize the prize because you can buy by flower. I've walked in and gave them my price range and the types of flowers I think I've seen around the house and what my wife likes, and in a matter of minutes I'm given a beautifully wrapped bouquet in the color of tissue and ribbon I've picked out. These guys are incredible always., but you will be in special luck to see Morgan if ya pop on. She is so awesome and really personalized a beautiful bouquet for me. Plus they support local it looks like because there's a bunch of Knick knacks and plant stuff and decor stuff for sale in there as well. It's a cool spot for something out of the ordinary. Arrangement left on porch in very cold temps. I was not notified of delivery. The pine needles fell off and flowers were wilted the next day. I was told the arrangement is only guaranteed the day of delivery and arrangements are not replaced. I was very disappointed that i did not enjoy for even a day. It was a large bouquet. Would not recommend this floral shop. read more

Once again I had a successful experience with Roth's! I have been purchasing flowers here for Trinity United Methodist Church's alter here for years, but with covid and no one allowed in the church the alter is bare. However, my parent's anniversary is on Valentine's Day. Yeah, I know. Don't start with the jokes, "That is SO cute..." Got it. Cute. Anyway, I was at a loss for what to get them this year, so I called up Roth's and told Steve, "This is the amount I want to spend. Do what you think is best AND deliver it." Sure enough a LOVELY boutique in a huge vase was delivered, ahead of time, per my request and they loved it. Does making people happy get any easier than that? I'll be back in the future!! read more

I got the "exquisite "arrangement that cost well over $150. The person that received the flowers sent me a photo. It was very tall, but it was probably the most sparse, scraggly looking arrangement I have ever spent money on. It was like ordering from Wish- definitely not what I thought I was getting for the price. I called to talk about my dissatisfaction, and the person who took the call at Roth florist had no interest in what I had to say and kept interrupting me, saying "you got the full value". We had a courthouse wedding for our friends in 30 minutes, and we waltzed in and asked them to make us a bouquet. As the lady at the counter put it, "no pressure!" We pointed out some pale pink roses and she was incredible - she found some pretty white wax flowers to pair them with, and quickly arranged a bouquet in front of our eyes. Then she tied it off with a pink ribbon. The bouquet was absolutely beautiful, and the bride felt special. It is the centerpiece of the wedding photos. And she only charged us $32 - a nice surprise! We couldn't have been happier with this experience at Roth's Florist. They really helped make a special day for the bride. read more

I have never posted a review, especially negative, of any service or business in my life until right now. It was my first time using a florist, short of purchasing a boutonniere for formal events, so I was new to the experience. My brother was getting married in an intimate courthouse ceremony and he and his wife asked me to cover the flowers. She sent me a screenshot of the bouquet she wanted off Pinterest to match her red dress for the post Christmas day ceremony. I called Roth's and explained to the husband owner that I would be driving from IL to IN early on the 26th and would stop in right before the ceremony to pick up the flowers. We went back and forth on multiple options and in the end decided to go with all roses in the bouquet (quoted $125), no carnations (quoted $100), and a single red rose boutonniere to match. Since this was my understanding, I did not question when my credit card was charged $153.00 on 12/17/19, nine days prior to picking up the flowers. Upon pick up, I questioned why the boutonniere was a white rose, not red. The husband said that he wrote down white rose for it and has been doing this for 54 years, so he does not make mistakes like that. I distinctly recall saying red...why would I want white when the bride's theme and dress were dark red? I let that slide and pointed outed out the white rose stem sticking out of the bouquet at the bottom about 2". He said it was supposed to be like that. Since I was on a schedule, I had to take the flowers and go. I did not have time to argue about the colors of all the flowers being too bright/wrong, the bouquet including carnations, or the sloppiness of the stem sticking out. Especially since it was clear the husband already had a response for the 2 comments I even attempted to make. There was a card in the box that stated if you were not happy with your arrangements to call. I waited 24 hours to calm down and called. I requested a copy of my receipt from the wife and explained my grievances the next day. There must have been a technical error because they told me they sent the receipt to 2 of my emails, but I could not find it in the inbox or spam/junk folders. The wife told me her husband would have to call me back since he took the order and did the arrangement. Both of them gave me attitude about not receiving the receipt. I have 3 engineering degrees...I know how to check my inbox, spam, junk, and deleted folders. It was simply a technical error that was no one's fault, definitely not the customer's. I waited the weekend and decided to send a polite text to the husband at the number he had given me, to send the Pinterest bouquet photo he was supposed to match, explaining that I had not gotten the receipt yet and would appreciate a screenshot of the one I initialed. He sent me back the receipt with 2 very long, defensive texts. I found this very unprofessional and immediately called instead of starting an inappropriate, immature texting conversation. He requested I called the land line, so I did. He stated that the flowers came in brighter than they anticipated. I said I would have appreciated a call so that I could source a bouquet more similar to what the bride would have wanted instead of being prematurely charged and not told about bright red and pink roses over dark red and light pink. The husband was very abrasive and rude on the phone saying that pictures can almost never be matched. I asked him why I was not told this upfront while ordering then? Next, I asked why carnations were included when I requested only roses be used and he said to try and match color. I believe it cheapened the look of the bouquet and it was not what I, or the bride, wanted. He was very combative and asked what I wanted out of the call. I said that a card was placed in my flower box with contact information if the customer was not pleased, so I was following up. He never told me the carnations were thrown in extra on top of the rose bouquet charge of $125; therefore, I was under the impression that I should have been charged $100, not $125. Overall, the bouquet did not look similar enough to me. I feel that I was told I was wrong multiple times as the CUSTOMER and was only spoken to with a raised voice from the husband. I pointed this out to him because I was speaking calmly and politely. He apologized and then proceeded to attack and use a raised voice. When I tried to speak, he would speak over me. I ended the call by saying "Thank you for your time, but I cannot be spoken to like this any longer" and hung up. Nothing was resolved and it is some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I will not be using them again and sincerely believe you should source your flowers elsewhere. If this were my wedding, I would be very upset as a bride to not receive what I anticipated and paid for the morning of the ceremony. read more

After flying in from Japan to make it in time to say goodbye to my dear Mother in law, her passing occurring the next day and the funeral 2 days later. Ordering flowers was all but forgotten. The afternoon, 3pm to be exact, before her funeral at 8am the next morning, my sister-in-law and I realized that we forgot to order flowers from her sons. We rushed to Roth Florist. After discussing our needs with the owner, he explained to us his flower inventory wouldn't be delivered until 9am the next morning. He personally walked back to the cooler and showed us his inventory on hand. We told him what we were looking for, gave him our price range, and trusted that he could make a beautiful sprays for this amazing woman. Imagine our shock and delight when we walked in the church at 8am the next morning and saw two of the most beautiful sprays we've ever seen. They truly were the freshest, most elegant flowers there. And sadly, even nicer than the flowers that another florist had made for her casket. I cannot thank Roth florist enough for making the saddest week of our lives a little less stressful, and a lot more beautiful thanks to their amazing flowers. I have always been skeptical of sending flowers because you send them and if they are terrible, the recipient isn't going to tell you. I always feel bad when I get the smallest (least expensive) arrangement when given the option of "good," "better," and "best". But Roth's "good" is better than I expected and their delivery charge didn't seem as outrageous as I've seen in the past. I was pleasantly surprised. read more
