I ordered a premium arrangement through the sympathy store online via Myers Mortuary obituaries. My 33 year old granddaughter passed away may 10th. I ordered a beautiful arrangement, I was charged $159.00 dollars. The arrangement that was delivered is not up to the arrangement which was shown and what I ordered. Not even worth $75.00 dollars. I contacted heathers flowers and asked for a partial refund and I was told that they only got paid a total of $60.00. The Sympathy Store is ripping grieving people.off badly. But I was told that they would honor the fact that I didn't get what I paid for and get back with me. I have not heard one word from the flower shop. The better business Bureau should shut down the sympathy store, they are literally stealing from the customers and not paying the florists what they are charging. But do not do business with Heathers Flowers on Washington st. In Frankfort in. You will not get quality work for what you pay for. read more

I ordered Telefloras premium Christmas winter tree on-line for my Mom and it turned out very disappointing. When I phoned to discuss my disappointment I was told that the actual boxtree plant was substituted for pine tree branches and they didn't have long enough stemmed roses to have them show up very well. She assured me she didn't short me in the amount spent on her behalf...my concern is for $90 I expected it to look beautiful. I attached photos of what was sent 1st and what was on the site I purchased for $90....very disappointed. As I was posting this the owner Heather phoned back and offered to send another flower arrangement. We decided on just sending something different at a future time. I appreciate her professionalism. I ordered birthday flowers for my mother in law online. She lives in a small town, Frankfort, and I decided to support a local business. I ordered a $50 bouquet of flowers from Heather's Flowers. After the delivery fee, some internet fee, and tax, the bouquet ended up costing more than $72. (...for all you mathematicians out there, that's nearly a 50% markup) I let it go thinking my m-i-l would receive something big and beautiful. It was neither. I ordered using Telefloras for my mom's birthday and it was so easy! But when the bad weather hit, I called Heather's and left a voicemail that Mom wouldn't be at the school for her birthday and asked if it'd be possible to deliver it to her home or wait until the weather was safe. I ordered a $300 casket spray for my Uncle's funeral to look like an autumn wildflower garden all in the tones of the season with no white in it at all. There are innumerable gorgeous chrysanthemums that are available only this time of year. There were only two types/colors and the central eye grabbing flowers were branches of white football mum clusters that looked like fireworks shooting out of my Uncle's belly and the rust colored one pushed in so far, one had to look hard to find it. I wrote Heather a nice business letter of complaint for that reason and also other directions not followed. Then asked for only a partial refund. Heather called me on my answering machine leaving a taped message of screeching name calling rage, telling me I have no taste and to never contact her again. I am a retired downtown Chicago party floral designer of 30 years. No one has ever spoken to me like that in my entire life nor would I dream of speaking to anyone at all in such a horrid manner. Any designer can make a pretty arrangement with the flowers they like best, but when challenged with something he/she does not personally care for, they don't know what to do and the result is terrible. I ordered flowers from Heather's Flowers on April 24,2019 to send to a gentleman in a Nursing Home. He was celebrating his 90th Birthday and I wanted the perfect gift for him. Heather took my order, she was friendly, professional, and courteous. I requested that she make something special for him. I live out of state, so I ask her to use her judgement on the arrangement. I asked if they could make something out of the ordinary, a dozen black roses bouquet at 9:30am and picked them up at 3:30pm the same day. These roses are REMARKABLE!!! We ordered flowers from this florist for a funeral of a close friend. We live out of state and were unable to attend the service. We ordered these flowers a couple of days before the funeral. Imagine our surprise when we received a call from Heather's Flowers that our order got " covered up", and they discovered this 1 day after the funeral. They offered to send flowers to family's house, but offered no sort of "oops, we messed up" compensation for their huge mistake and poor business service. We declined this offer since we were unsure whether the family would want flowers at their home and more so because we had no confidence in this business. Flowers are very time specific- funeral, wedding, prom, etc., so if they can't deliver, don't take orders you can't deliver on. I would not recommend this business at all. read more
